Browning FLD rifles are only available at dealers that carry a full line of Browning products. I upgraded to the Z5. Why? I got it free while working at a gun store. It was part of a sales incentive from Swarovski. Sell six qualified optics and use your accumulated points to get free products. I chose this Z5. I'll post an updated video soon.

Are those mounts the standard low mounts or medium? And how is the fitment with the scope caps

The mounts are medium. When the objective lens approaches 50mm then the mounts need to be higher so the scope can clear the barrel.
Keep in mind when going to a larger objective lens and using high rings the center axis of the scope will be higher and if its too high you may not be able to get a good cheek weld without an adjustable comb.
This is why precision rifle stocks have a high comb built in of have an adjustable comb..
I personally prefer a 40mm to 44mm objective lens because nearly all of my rifles have a standard stock.
The scope caps fit really well. Uncle Mike's sells scope caps in different sizes but I have never really liked them. So when the manufacturer sells scope caps I buy them even if they are pricey.
