Saw your previous video ! Stick with Canon c100ii for talking head videos inside your house! Looks awesome !
To me, for what you are shooting here, the C100 MKII looks better than any of the modern cameras. Could be because I shot a few documentaries on my C100 back in the day but it just looks great. Sony color science simply isn't as good.

congrats for buying thid overheating piece of crap. You can´t even stream with a battery dummy for much longer as 40min. ZVE1 is the worst.
@@Hakku1403That has not been my experience. I routinely do webcam use of this for over an hour. It streams at 720p. I also thought it charges from the USB while streaming. Again; that’s worked fine for me that way with USB Charging while simultaneously streaming. 🤷

@@Hakku1403there may be individual variations between cameras; for example, my camera has terrible WiFi and Bluetooth reception for remote shooting… I have to be by literally next to it to trigger the Bluetooth for recording; but others don’t have this problem. My A7S3 however has no issues with that at all. So, just like every lens is different it’s possible that every camera is different in these quirky ways.

No offence to 7artisans, but would that 500mm even be sharp enough on the m4/3 sensor? That 25mpx sensor is quite demanding LOL.

Swapped my Sony for a Lumix and I'll never go back. Just a much nicer thing to use and slow mo id not important to me (kind of seems a bit cheesy tbh). Lumix ergonomics just make me want to shoot more, can't explain it better than that...
R6ii beats ZV-E1, could make a case for the R8 for certain shooters - go and watch Creative Ryan who’s killing it with the R8 + RF 16/2.8. RF glass is OP and most lens have IS, something Sigma/Tamron doesn’t have. ZVE1 overheats, one card slot. R6ii is a workhorse, gimbal like IBIS, no wobble, zero overheating issues. If you’re shooting video only, FX3 is prob best in this discussion. R5/R5ii is the best hybrid hands down. R6ii if you want to save a bit yet still pro level… Then you have the pocket 3 which is fantastic for what it does.
Have you checked out the Nikon X RED official LUT. I have heard that it has some amazing color. I hope you can test it so that we can hear from you, if it's all fluff or something else. Thanks for your videos, I love them they are so darn entertaining!
No matter what anyone says, it seems to me that the picture in Black Magic looks more cinematic.

RF lenses are expensive, finally started doing something for budgetty people, the RF28-70mm f2.8 for 1100 bucks is the reason they hadnt open the mount to tamron/sigma yet.

I have the BM OG with the BM .58 speed booster for Canon lenses, the original speed booster, version 1, not the newer one, and mine adjust the Tonehs just fine. I don’t know if there is a difference or not in the Speed Boosters. The original one doesn’t say .58 on the side of the speed boosters, the newer version does say .58 on the side of the Speed Booster. I also have a Sigma FP, which is basically a full frame BM OG on steroids.
A7CII has all the ai features like the ZVE1 and has the new colors science
And none of the slow mo.

Black magic looks great. Should I get the Sony ev1 or a shortfin squid? Think of trying street videography. The Sony has better specs but the squid will squirt ink if anyone sees me and I can make my escape. No squids would be harmed in the making of my video.

Give credit to the R8 for probably working better with favorite EF lenses (and better color) than any other brand's body - 24/1.4, 85/1.2, 135/2.

I also had the R8 s5ii and a7cii, but I ended up choosing the ZVE1. There is no comparison; in every specification, it simply beats the others with flying colors while being lighter. When I saw the z6iii and GH7 doing those red LUTs and Arri LUTs, I thought, "That's what I have been doing on the ZVE1 for 1.5 years." And it's super easier than editing those nightmarish C-Log3, N-Log which never work on my Resolve and always end up with less dynamic range but more noise.
The s5ii is somewhere close to the ZVE1, but everything on it was twice heavier.
I’m looking for a photo and video hybrid camera with high megapixel, 4k120 HD240, and good skin tones. Pre shooting and a good log profile would be nice too.

Audio Recording that the Average Person is not going to even notice suttle differences. Unless a Viewers eyes are trained to know what it is they are seeing with focus being most obvious, color science
and 3d pop less apparent, Average viewers do not notice

@@kenduejones I just got the EF 35mm F1.4 L mark 1 he’s always talking about. It’s incredible!! First pic I took just messing around with it look absolutely 3 dimensional. I got mine from Japan for $599 in mint+ condition. I think that rating was a stretch but it functions flawlessly. I have lots of RF glass, and while it’s not as sharp as most of those nothing compares to this lens. You definitely need to pick one up. You won’t regret it.

I like the Black Magic. The C100 Mark II looks the best in my opinion. Decent Toneh. If you use this comment in another Canon Hobo Scrub lens episode, what third-party lens would you use if you were somebody else: Tamron or Sigma for a prime R Mount. I shoot video and photos on a Canon RP.

Sony may be a bit too clinical or "boring" as some say, but the reality is they are good, reliable, have great autofocus and the most lenses of all of the brands, you can basically get ANY focal length you dream of and for half the price

Poor me got the R6 before the mark II came out and there was still hope for third party RF lenses, but i still like it better than the R8 which is my second body.
Just writing this so that CANON knows that i´m most likely switching to SONY.
Because the R5 card slots solution is a joke! 12 years ago it might have been acceptable like on the 5D iii, but for the end of 2024 it is not.
And I want third party lenses!

The more you pay for it, the absolutely trash dumpster garbage fire the advice is. Like, the index funds, mostly hold 15% invidiaz, but its a trash stock, like Microsoft. Why buy windows for? It makes no sense. A stock has a lifespan for two reasons; They have exceded the P/L curve, like Amazon, and genuinely don't care about you anymore, its some kind of charity. Or, their a dumpster fire, but how can you trust a stock where knowledgeable people just want to sell off? But I'd just get the Canon r5mII, don't see nothing except maybe r5mIII.
