@@Lator_the_Gator well for Fatalis it kinda makes sense Since all black dragons have a weakness of their power Alatreon couldn’t control his elements well and it changed a lot (in old games) Dire Miralis is so hot he has to live in water to cool it down So Fatalis being weak to fire means that his element ain’t weak to it But his body can’t handle to much of it If you even notice his fight His super breath (the one he goes up in the air and shoots fire) It gets weaker and weaker His horns are the one that control the temperature Also it makes sense why it uses dead hunters to get better skin Pretty much Fatalis fire is so strong that his own body is weak to it and he need to repair his body Also fire is used to melt the resources we use to make armor So it makes why fire weapon hurt him We are hurting the scales which are infused with hunter armor And adding heat to it with the hit of his fire will destroy it Proof - his chest gets brighter and brighter .. meaning the skin and scales on It were damaged by us and his fire and his body is exposing outside Why he doesn’t leave? He need to repair his body so he stays and tries to kill us to he can use our body Evidence- when he pin us .. he grab us and press us in his chest .. we take heat damage it fire damage Same effect lunastra heat super nova He is trying to melt us with heat into his chest
Well, he was finally presented in an engaging and exciting boss fight in Iceborne and he gets the same treatment here. Before he was kind of big pile of stat points you had to min max against just to have a chance at winning. It was like trying to fight a tank with a stick. It took forever to accomplish anything and one mistake got you one shotted.
...Going by the appearance of the characters, this game seems very... Kid-friendly... But Fatalis here is like... The Ruined Dragon from SM: Odyssey. just... Fuckin' whiplash.
Even though the Game looks kid friendly, it's pretty mature for being what it is, it's also pretty diffycult, like, actually getting Beat up diffycult.
I recommend getting 1 of each attack type gene for all monsties to make them viable. Example Ratha may be power but give him 1 speed and 1 tech move hes now super versatile.

Depends on how you want your monster and the stats, I don't fit my monsters with every type of attack, I just give them what gives them the best bingo bonuses for the element that they are. For example, my Bloodbath Diablos absolutely destroyed fatalis and was able to tank the hits.
2:06 I find Kirin vs Fatalis to be quite symbolic. While Kirin is a force for good and never harms good and pure souls, Fatalis is a creature of pure evil bent on destruction.
@@yinouga2517 i did it at lvl 79. Almost failed. Coz he keeps doing aoe moves and twice a turn when he is near death. Most of his hits kills you in one hit. So you must really memorize his moves. He starts at speed. If he uses hellish flames he is power. If he uses sky nova he is speed. If he stands on two legs he is the one your monstie is weak against.
Based on my understanding on how most people in these games handle spoilers,is hide them for the first few weeks then just don't bother hiding anything So i think that time already past since i have been seeing a lot more spoiler worthy things popping up with no warnings

I been playing since the game came out im am on floor 6. I been avoiding all spoilers I open UA-cam and boom final boss reveals. It hasn't been a month and people work just waiting tile the month end of the game release is common courtesy.
Fatalis was a secret boss in the OG game and it’s been 4 years since then. It’s not even a new monster but pre-existing one stuck in a secret area at the end. I’m not seeing the issue here.
This guy took 1 try. Granted I had to restore a heart or two because he got close to killing me a few times. but really countering his attack patterns every time is what made him quite bearable. I also used grimclaw tigrex armor. Made getting kinship skills for turn skipping his actions soooo blissful. Now that I look at this dude you really were over thinking to the moon on how to fight you didn’t even need level 68 elders for this I only had to use Kushala Daora the whole fight and it wasn’t bad at all. He doesn’t even have half his abilities work at the time bc fatalis is resistant, but he was my best monster lol. I used like level 1-2 weapons as well. Your over thinking made you make mistakes. It’s just a matter of countering his head ons EVERY time and his attack pattern changes will always be the same after certain attacks. He always has huge tells like that. If you counter his head on every time he can’t kill you in the head on

Yep pretty much the fight. Once he starts attacking twice, I just heal till Reverto can attack with a kinship, then i set out my strongest attacks with no worries.
@@Rubhen925 For me it was mostly at the end when he was literally always using that powerful "power" skill and followed up with a tail sweep. I think what saved me was using Mizu's evade skill
i beat him from second try, i almost did it the first time, but he killed my AI partner Avinia near the end :/ ... so i came back the second time with a full dragon build in order to kill him faster than he could kill her with his BS double attacks XD. Even though I still dont have any elders on my team he was still easily beatable with Stygian Zinogre + 3 Nerg weapons.
Be patient. It took me many tries at level 45 but I finally got there. Use power moves until it unfolds another pair on wings, when that happens use speed attacks. When 6 wings appear, use technical attacks. For the other half, use power attacks. I don't remember the rest because I forgot to write it down but that's how I did it. Try to have 2 monsties if each type. 2 power, 2 speed, 2 technical
Alright. I defeated him yesterday at Lvl. 40. Here's how I beat him: For Weapons: go for bow or a gunlance For Armour: go for the Ivory Lagi, since it gives you All-Elem-Def (S) And go for Partbreaker (L) as the charm (you can find it in the cryatal depths in a chest) For Monsties: I recomand Astalos, Nergigante (best partbreaker) and Ratha In the first phase he's tech, so get out someone like Ratha or Nergigante, who have a much higher tendancy to go for power on their own. Max the kinship gauge with a certain monstie and then switch. If it's enraged, it'll go for power, so go for a Astalos with Thunderbug shot or Nergigante with his Ruinos-Speed. Command your Monsties around to enforce Double attacks. When the wings come, target only the wings. When the Ray Wings come, target the Ray Wings first, it'll reduce the number of attacks (if both are in function, he has 3 attacks each turn). Break one with kinship, then fill out the gauge by spamming double attacks. In the last phase, get ya bois out and spam kinship on the only two ray wings. Congrats: you beat him....gg
@@swampsneaker2145 I farmed quests. Like: Slay an Astalos or Nergigante and then turn them in. Gives Money, Exp and Materials. My Tipp: Do it right after hatching something. They get a Newborn Multiplier bonus in such things

Note, you didn't actually need to kill Fatalis to get his full armour set. Plunderblades, a cannon opener, and some luck will get you all but the horns you need for the armour, and the horns just require a single part break.

I just cleared the advance ruin fatalis. So the whole game just allows you to fight him twice. Have to wait for the oct update to farm his gears...

Suggestion: remove "Fatalis" from the title and make it something like "Final Elder's Lair Boss".

I killed on the first try too and it was thanks to kirin tanking all aoe with 50 hp and Reverto not dying.
