If you are wondering why the Web Configurator looks different, you may be running an older version! New firmware options can be found at this link github.com/OpenStickCommunity/GP2040-CE/releases Remember to download both the flash_nuke.uf2 file and the latest Haute42 firmware release. Then you want to hold start, select, and up at the same time as you plug in your controller, then drag the flash_nuke.uf2 file to the file explorer pop-up. What this does is it removes any existing firmware so that you can then place the new firmware file in to the file explorer pop-up. You want to make sure to nuke it first as neglecting to do so will cause the firmware to not function properly. For those with backups from the previous firmware versions, do note that your backup files will not work on the new versions. If you want to disable double inputs like I show in the video, the process is fairly similar, disabling Dual Directional Input in the Add-Ons section is the same, but to have one L3 button it does look a little different. Make your way to Pin Mappings, then disable Pin 18 by clicking the X to have the bottom left button be your only L3 button, or disable Pin 26 to have it be the top right button. Since the videos upload, several changes have been made like USB Passthrough for Xbox One & Series S/X consoles (this also requires an adapter to work) and many more changes that you can find throughout the GitHub. If you need help on any issues, check out the gp2040-ce.info/ website for more info, or comment down below and I will do my best to help.
Between this and Mayflash announcing an all button controller FINALLY average people can reasonably play leverless. I've been consistently shocked and dismayed by the extortionist prices of Hitbox/Snackbox and all the other botton box controllers costing well over $250.00 USD for what is legitimately a slightly specialized keyboard, when you can buy a good arcade stick for $100. It isn't and never was an acceptable price point.
As someone who has owned 4 leverless controllers…I can say for sure the most disappointing one was the hitbox, which cost me $250 + tax and shipping. Super glad to start seeing reasonably priced ones that are good quality on the market.
There are small companies that will literally build you a custom wooden hitbox style controller for around 200-250. The fact that a Razer Kitsune is 300+ is completely absurd.
@@Wolfgang_von_CaelidDamn. Is the Kitsune's conceit supposed to be that it is the last and only leverless controller that you'll ever need? Because that price is insane.
I'm so glad hitbox controllers are finally getting more variety. I've been looking for one exactly like this for so long, I was actually starting to consider just making one myself. The only thing this is missing for me is a left hand pinky button to use as a shift key, but I can live without that for now. Once I get this, if it works well, I'm probably going to sell my snackbox micro, which I love, but just needs more buttons, and the the start/select keys are like needles on my fingertips. I honestly can't believe I payed 250 for a snackbox (and waited for it to drop) when for less than half of that price I could have got this. For PC users, it's just a no brainer.
@ATOMiiCChicken it's been great. I ended getting 2 more. Metal M16 and M16Plus. Quality controller. The metal ones are a bit more sturdy but I've not had any issues with this one
@@mc-fine nice thank you for the update glad you're enjoying it, currently I'm on controller but was looking to move over and had my eye on this one for a bit
@ATOMiiCChicken it's a great choice especially if you are not sure if button only controllers will work for you. $75 is good enough to give it a try and it's high quality
Just bought one after getting into SF6 and seeing the comprehensive review. Always had a Qanba Obsidian but wanting to try leverless and having the the steep entry cost for most controllers nowadays this is a definite steal. Give us beginners some leverless tips !
Thanks for the video. Already bought a T16 for myself (several models actually😅). Appreciate the conciseness and clear research put into this. Hope more people find out about these controllers.
hi how to switch between SOCD cleaner Priority VS neutral VS last Win ? can you please make video about how to map buttons in sittings from empty to L3 or R3 ?
I switched to leverless about three months ago and I've always struggled with parry and DI and wished that there was a button for my right thumb to make things easier. Switching between the top row of buttons and the bottom is ok for the first three fingers but for some reason I just can't make it work with my stubby pinky finger. I'm so stoked that there's finally an affordable option for this on the market. I bought the M16 (the metal version with same button config) and I'm mega stoked.
about to go for it, but am slightly concerned whether it's going to be tourney-legal, as the max i've seen the pros use have been 15-button ones. i assume the direction-only buttons don't count towards Capcom's 11-action button rule?
@@Hontonoki Honestly I'm not really sure. I have two other leverless controllers that are for sure tournament legal so I didn't really check super close before buying it
@@MrBones105 my reasoning is that I don't really want to train my muscle memory for a layout I can't bring with me to a potential tourney. But we'll see
👍 👍 👋 I read the manual, it says that the controller will be disconnected after 8 minutes after connecting to the ps4/ps5. Will that keep happening even if we use the Adapter Magicboots or the Wingman? 🤔 I am a bit confused.
Without the adapter it will disconnect after 8 minutes, but if you plug in the adapter and change the PS4 input to Arcade Stick in the web configurator like I show in the video, you will be able to play PS4 games and PS5 fighting games without disconnections.
This is amazing especially for the price. I also appreciate that they made it WASD and I love the right thumb button. I have a custom controller with that setup. Are there caps/plugs that can be inserted if I pulled the excess buttons to make it flush with the unit? Also, always nice to see a fellow Kimberly main!
They don't provide any option like that, just the standard caps so you'd probably have to 3D print them or just unbind them. And Kim's been fun, glad I decided to pick her as my main a while back.
I'm going to buy it even if i don't play that much fighting games .This stick is going to blow up and when I will play more fighting games (because of MK1) there will probably be out of stock or even discontinued.
What happen when You press and hold Left and next You press right. 1. Like on keyboard, character stop in position or 2. Right arrow have high means and character go to right
If you press left then right it will be neutral and the character won't move. Same for up and down at the same time will be neutral. This is so that the controller is legal in tournament, but it can be disabled if you play other games or games that don't have as strict of a ruleset.
You can bind them in game to those options. If your pin mapping looks different then it may be because you updated your controller, in which case you can follow my other video that shows the updated pin mappings.
Nice video! And thank you for showing the configuration tool. It's always interesting too see how to remap stuff and how customizable a controller is as I prefer to have my action buttons all in one row. Wonder if anyone has tried one of those with blue/brown switches.
Glad it helped, and yeah GP2040-CE firmware has a whole lot of things you can configure for many different use cases. In the Haute42 Discord there's a pretty active community and people have posted their experience with other switches, so you can definitely search or ask in there.
Many thanks to you for this video 😄 I already play on a leverless controller (I changed the pannel on an hori RAP4) and I was searching for an affordable alternative. I was also interrested to test such kind of buttons to see the difference between Sanwas. I play on PS5 so I also ordered the USB Mayflash key, I hope it will work. 😊
@@arikessler67 Yeah sure, I ordered the controller + the mayflash USB key before yesterday. I got a mail from Ali Express that the parcel may arrive (in France) on the 9th to the 11th January. I will let you know if it works when I will get it. Tekken 8 will not be released but I may try on the demo, SF6 and GGS. 😉
Hi 😊 I got the controller in the mail today. Just made a quick test at first and it logically didn't worked. I set the the controller as described in the video on my pc and it works perfectly fine on PS5 (with the mayflash key of course ! 😉) Tested on Tekken 8 demo, native PS5 versions of Street fighter 6 and Guilty Gear Strive. 😉 The controller itself is very well made and the button response is pretty good. 😊 I hope that it will help.
@@arikessler67 You're very welcome. 😊 I was searching for a good alternative at the Razer Kitsune with a leverless not too small and I'm pretty happy with the T16 from what I tested yesterday. The Kitsune looks good but don't have the extra buttons that can be very useful at SF6 for the drive impact or the drive rush. I paid about 110€ for the Haute42 T16 + the mayflash and here in France the Razer Kitsune is sold at 349€... 😱 A real scam comparing the Haute42 T16 and its qualities/functions... 🙄
It should say PS4 but it needs to be the V1.1 version. Keep in mind that this will make your controller work on all PS4 games, but for the PS5 only for fighting games.
@@ChronoAscension this V1.1 i keep hearing and seeing, how do i check if its that before buying it on amazon. or is it something i have to download ? ty for the response :)
@@BCAJ-FGC I'm not sure which region you are from, but you can get it from Amazon, SGFDevices, or AliExpress. The only one you need to be careful of is AliExpress because there are a lot of people selling them on there, and you want to confirm that it is the right version. They should sell for around $30 USD.
If you want something big that has a lot of space for your hands and can be played in your lap, or to bring to tournaments, I would go with the T series. If you want something nice and small to travel around with, then go with the S series.
@@ChronoAscension Thanks for the reply! Do you think the smaller keys on the S series is more suitable for people with smaller hands? (I noticed the S series has slightly smaller buttons?) I am going to be using it on my desk and not travelling around with it. Does the S series still make sense?
@@gt9478 Yeah I would say the S series makes sense, it's really good for desk play since it's small, and a lot of people prefer to play with it that way. It may also end up being more comfortable for you too since you said you have small hands.
what about a adpter why not plug in the ps5 controller like other 3rd party sticks i used too use the older mayflash stick that needed you too plug in a controller for compatibility for xbox or ps3 or ps4
It will not work with the official Dualshock 4 or the PS5’s Dualsense. It will need to be a third party licensed controller for it to work or an adapter.
Do you actually need to plug the adapter to the PS5 first before plugging it into your Haute42 controller? I've been seeing some other people saying to plug to the PS5 first but I don't have a PS5 myself to test it.
If you’re saying to plug it into the PS5 and then plug the cable into the back USB port on the adapter that is a method you can use, however doing it that way may add a bit of lag. Setting it up in the web configurator like shown in the video makes sure that you can just plug the adapter into the USB-A port on the controller for authentication with no additional lag. If you’re saying plugging it into the PS5 so that it picks up a connection then unplugging it to plug into the controller, that is not how adapters work and they’ll simply work without doing that.
i bought the same controller - have you figured out a way to turn off all LEDs? and make them only activate on button press? i can't seem to configure it correctly in the web configurator.
Yes, unless you have a third party PS4 controller (cannot be the official PS4 controller nor a licensed PS5 controller) you can use that to plug into the USB-A slot as a substitute for an adapter. This would be a bit uncomfortable to set up though since you have the other controller attached off to the side.
Great review, i got the T16 and it's really great but when I disconnect it from any device, if I try to reconnect it immediately, it doesn't turn on, I have to wait about twenty minutes to turn it on again. Any solution?
I've never heard of this issue, it should just work right away if you use the same console, but for switching consoles it takes just a few seconds then it works. Are you pressing and holding the correct button when switching between different consoles?
@@alespamVI Their Discord server is on their website, maybe you could ask for help in there because I'm not familiar with how to fix that specific issue.
You need an adapter plugged into the side of it (this method adds no lag since it’s only for authentication) and then you need to also enable arcade stick mode in the web configurator. In the web configurator section of the video I show how to enable this, and also check out the PS5 compatibility section of the video and I mention which adapters will work.
@@J3msStar You can buy the Mayflash MagicBoots v1.1 adapter to get PS4 and PS5 compatibility. For PS5 compatibility it only works on fighting games. You can buy it from Amazon for $35 USD, or from Aliexpress for $32.50 USD. If you want to buy from AliExpress, make sure that the store you are buying from has a lot of sales/reviews.
Hello, great video. I'd like to ask two questions. 1) Can you change the display to actually show all buttons and if so, how? 2) You said that you need to connect the PS5 adapter to the side of the controller. But I've seen people that use the wingman fgc, connect it to the PS5 and then connect the fight stick on that. Would that work?
Thank you, and to answer your first question, you’ll want to go to their Discord and download the custom firmware for the controller model you’ve chosen and all buttons will display. There are some glitches with it highlighting both jump buttons in the display when one of them is pressed, and same for the L3 buttons even if one is unbound, but this does not affect gameplay. For your second question, you can 100% use the adapter this way, but you can also plug the adapter into the side of the controller to have 0 lag as doing it the traditional way with the Wingman FGC adds a slight bit of delay. Just make sure to set the PS4 input mode to Arcade Stick in the Web Config so you can use it on PS4 and PS5 with the adapter.
@@ChronoAscension Also something else and sorry for spamming. Can you remove the top metal part of the fightstick? Because I'd like to paint it. I'm talking about the M13/M16 series, forgot to mention that.
So i thought i needed to keep the magicboots plugged into the unit everytime i wanna play on PS5. Seems like it just works without now? is there any explanation for this? lol
For PC, Switch, and PS3 no adapters are necessary. It is plug and play, just hold B when you plug it in to your PC, A for Switch Mode, and X for PS3 mode. When you do this, it'll remember which input setting you are on so you don't need to do this every time you plug it in, only if you switch between consoles.
I plan to buy this leverless controller, did you need the Mayflash Magicboots 1.1 to make it work with the ps5? If I'm not mistaken you did not mention if you need this USB adapter while using the 2040 URL or can it work with PS5 without the Magicboots Adapter? I'm Confused I have a PS5 and want to play SF6 & Tekken 8 using a Leverless but I don't want to spend $300 on the kitsune.
You will need the Mayflash Magicboots v1.1 plugged into the controller and to go into the web config and change your PS4 input setting to Arcade Stick. Hope this helps!
I unfortunately don’t have any of the G Series controllers to compare it to personally. I know the main difference though is the switches/switch size. The G series uses full size Leobog switches rather than low profile Kaila Choc V2 switches like the T series controllers use. Because of this, they also use different key caps and on the G series, they’re prone to popping off especially when doing sliding inputs. They are releasing an S model soon which is like the G series but uses the same switches and switch caps as the T series which aren’t prone to popping off.
Hi 👋, Question 🙋 If I purchase the PS5 USB Brook instead of the Mayflash Magicboost do I still need to change the settings to make it work with the PS5?
If you use it in the default way of plugging the cable into the wingman then no, but I think that if you use the PS Passthrough method of plugging it into the controller, then you will have to change the setting for it to work.
The GP2040-CE website has some premade options for it, as well as in their Discord server some people have made some. It can be an image that is 128x64 size and black and white, and you can even make your own.
Got something similar (with less buttons) a few months ago. I still struggle with using my left thumb on the up button. Does anyone use their right hand for jumping/up?
I compared it to the S16 and the M16, and the S16 has physically smaller buttons caps but scaled to size button layout except with a bigger jump button than the rest of its buttons. The M16 has a smaller body but the button cap sizes are the same and has pretty much the same button spacing as the T16. So the S16 is gonna be smaller but the M16 has the same spacing.
I recently bought a different aliexpress leverless and my main issue with it was that it was advertised as hot swappable but in reality it wasn't. The switches could be pulled out way to easily to the point hey would pop out while under normal use. I later learned they came with a sticky pad I was supposed to put on that made them not pop out any more but also removes the ability to take them out at all which makes the device not hot swappable anymore. I noticed this device is also listed as hot swappable so I was wondering if this device was similar to the one I purchased or if this one does it better. Do the switches stay in under normal use or does this also have a sticky pad you are supposed to put on to make the switches not pop out?
It’s just as simple as taking the switch out and putting in a new one. There’s a nice click so you’ll know that it’s seated properly. It sits firmly so there’s no need for adding a sticky pad or anything.
Thank you knowing about that click is the important part for me the one I bought does not have that which is why they just pop out randomly so it having it means it was made properly.@@ChronoAscension
@@ChronoAscension So you don't need to do anything on the webconfig site? Thanks for taking your time to answer I really appreciate it. Have a nice day!
@@OjoRojo40 You won't need to do anything in the web config, but if you do take it to a tournament, you will want to disable the double input settings in the web config like I show you how to do in the video. Out of the box you'll have two up buttons and two L3 buttons. So if you mapped L3 to Drive Impact and R3 to Parry for example, you would end up having 2 Drive Impacts, 2 Ups, and 1 Parry.
Is the button placement and size comfortable to use? Especially the directional inputs for stubby fat fingers. Looks like you need to stretch out your fingers a bit far
My fingers aren't large so I don't have an exact comparison, but I personally found the button placement comfortable and you may find them better than the traditional 24mm layout of the original since the button caps are larger.
I don’t know specifically how many buttons you can have but you can always disable some of the extra buttons. I only have 2 extra which I know is legal at least. You also need to disable Dual Directional input since there’s 2 up buttons, and disable one of the L3 buttons. I show how to do so in the video if you need a visual on that.
You can use a third party PS4 controller that is licensed as a substitute for an adapter. The official PS4 and PS5 controllers will not work, and third party licensed PS5 controllers will not work either.
Yeah you can use the adapter that way. If you go into the web config and change PS4 input to Arcade Stick and plug it in the side then you’ll have less latency, but for simplicity you can just use it the normal way.
Hiya, thanks or the video, really informative. One thing I wanted to know was how did the buttons feel? Were they slippery? Grippy? Cheap feeling? I ordered the M-Series and was interested to know since I am coming from a Snackbox Micro and their buttons feel amazing.
They’re decently thick and sturdy so they don’t feel cheap to me. As for slipperiness, definitely didn’t have any problems with that either. They have a matte texture so my fingers don’t slide off of them at all.
Thanks for the review. I saw one of their smaller controllers and then had to check out this one. I actually already have a standard leverless, but I'm interested in using the bottom left thumb for an additional down input. Weird I know. Do you happen to know if it can be made more silent? I can't tell without hearing it in person, but I might want less noise.
Extra buttons means all that extra room to experiment with. I also saw this post a few days ago for a DIY silencer mod, and if you look at their comments they link to another post of theirs with a sound comparison. www.reddit.com/r/fightsticks/s/Mudos2Mm2Y
@ChronoAscension ooo dang, thanks I appreciate it! His buttons still seem loud after that modification, but it might just be the recording. Either way, good to know the button just pops off like that.
Yes, you just plug it in the side USB slot of the controller and enable it through the web configurator like I show in the video for no added lag like usual adapter methods do.

It actually provides no input delay because it’s only used for console authentication. Same for if you used other adapters like the Wingman FGC (with USB Passthrough, as using this adapter the normal way would add a little bit of delay) and same with the PXN N5.
If you want something that’s cheap, quick, and easy that you can also add PS5 support to by plugging an adapter into the side USB port of the controller, then this is a good option. I have a video on how to set that up if you’re interested. Otherwise if you want something that’s a bit more future proof, I’d say go with the FightBox. I say the FightBox is more future proof as it can be opened up and the parts can be replaced, including the board for whenever a new generation console comes out. They also have several options for the control board so you can choose options with PS5 support if that’s something you need as well and has no additional setup required.

Then that gets plugged into the USB slot at the top right of the device. I'd recommend the Mayflash one as it's the smallest and it won't stick out too much. Then go to the "Web Configurator & PS5 Support" section of the video and I show you how to set it up. Keep in mind that PS5 support is only for fighting games and games that support legacy controllers.
By default, no, but if you update it to the latest 0.7.6 version (there is a Haute42 specific configuration as well, just make sure you also download the nuke file to remove the stock firmware before updating with this version github.com/OpenStickCommunity/GP2040-CE/releases/download/v0.7.6/GP2040-CE_0.7.6_Haute42.uf2 ) you can plug in an Xbox adapter into the side for use on the Xbox One and Series S/X consoles.
There’s multiple layers of acrylic that can be unscrewed and art can be put underneath. The template for each model can be found in their discord server.
It's super nice but I can't see buying something that isn't native to ps5 right now. I don't have an adapter or whatever. Still great price and I love the layout.
1:22 Bro why are you using another cable and not the one that comes with the box? I want to see how the thing works with the provided cables not a custom one. 1/10 review.
You will need to update the firmware with the files provided in their Discord server. You will also need to buy an adapter like the Mayflash Xbox One adapter (Will work on Xbox Series S/X as well) or a licensed Xbox controller to plug into the USB slot of the device.
@@muneebpatrick4427 At the moment, using the official Xbox Series X/S or XB1 controllers will not work as a method for USB Passthrough, so you'll likely need to buy an adapter.
You need to go into the web configurator and make sure PS4 input is set to Arcade Stick. Then plug an adapter like the Mayflash V1.1 into the usb slot on the side and you’ll have lagless connection on PS4 and PS5. Keep in mind for PS5 it only works for fighting games not all games.
Funny this was uploaded now because GP2040 devices now support Xbox so i guess add on another $30 for a the xbox magic boot and you basically can play on anything.
@@MEGAWOP Is there a Tutorial for Dummies in order to do that? (I just Order this Product, and I have an Xbox Series S, and I would like to Know how to update the Controller when I received it)
You can literally see shipment date. Avoid cheapskate sellers who uses free shipping that takes months and you are good. Luckily Haute42's official shop sends their product around a week

Thank you so much, hope you enjoy the controller and Tekken 8.
Just got mine in the mail two days ago. Love it and the discord is super helpful with any questions
Just bought one after getting into SF6 and seeing the comprehensive review. Always had a Qanba Obsidian but wanting to try leverless and having the the steep entry cost for most controllers nowadays this is a definite steal. Give us beginners some leverless tips !
Just ordered mine, can't wait to try it out.
Thanks for the video. Already bought a T16 for myself (several models actually😅). Appreciate the conciseness and clear research put into this. Hope more people find out about these controllers.
Thank you, really appreciate the feedback and support!

This response means more to me than anything else@@ChronoAscension
But we'll see
Thank you for this comprehensive review!
thank you for a great and informative video!
Has anyone else peeped these ccontrollers just steadily going up in price the past few months?
👍 👍 👋 I read the manual, it says that the controller will be disconnected after 8 minutes after connecting to the ps4/ps5. Will that keep happening even if we use the Adapter Magicboots or the Wingman? 🤔 I am a bit confused.
Without the adapter it will disconnect after 8 minutes, but if you plug in the adapter and change the PS4 input to Arcade Stick in the web configurator like I show in the video, you will be able to play PS4 games and PS5 fighting games without disconnections.
amazing video, what is the song at 3:11?
Thank you, it is Ken’s theme from Street Fighter 6.
@@ChronoAscension thanks!
Bruh I just want to use the extra buttons for my DI, DP and throw

How do I cause the ping mapping is weird
I ment my pin mapping is different from the time of this recording
Update if it works on your ps5, pls.
@@ogamitaicho77 thank you, I truly appreciate the follow up
@@arikessler67 You're very welcome. 🙄
i saw that small mayflash magic boot on amazon for 40, but it said ps4 am i looking at the right one ?
It should say PS4 but it needs to be the V1.1 version. Keep in mind that this will make your controller work on all PS4 games, but for the PS5 only for fighting games.

Do you recommend the T series over the S series?
If you want something big that has a lot of space for your hands and can be played in your lap, or to bring to tournaments, I would go with the T series. If you want something nice and small to travel around with, then go with the S series.
@@ChronoAscension Thanks for the reply! Do you think the smaller keys on the S series is more suitable for people with smaller hands? (I noticed the S series has slightly smaller buttons?)
I am going to be using it on my desk and not travelling around with it. Does the S series still make sense?
@@gt9478 Yeah I would say the S series makes sense, it's really good for desk play since it's small, and a lot of people prefer to play with it that way. It may also end up being more comfortable for you too since you said you have small hands.
Can I connect 2 of these on pc for 2 players
Yes, you shouldn't have any issues with that.
what about a adpter why not plug in the ps5 controller like other 3rd party sticks i used too use the older mayflash stick that needed you too plug in a controller for compatibility for xbox or ps3 or ps4
It will not work with the official Dualshock 4 or the PS5’s Dualsense. It will need to be a third party licensed controller for it to work or an adapter.
@@ChronoAscension aw gotcha i just buy the brook super converter then no problem on that there cheap
Got mine, the acrylic edges on it are a HARD 90 degrees, nice and sharp LOL, not an issue cos i can just customize it.
Where do I get the PS4 PEM/SN/Sig files I cannot find any information anywhere
How long is the USB cable?
@@ChronoAscension Yep the latter is what I meant, thank you for clarifying
i bought the same controller - have you figured out a way to turn off all LEDs? and make them only activate on button press? i can't seem to configure it correctly in the web configurator.
So I will need an adapter anyway to play on PS5? 😭
Yes, It just doesn't turn on
@@alespamVI Their Discord server is on their website, maybe you could ask for help in there because I'm not familiar with how to fix that specific issue.
Does this not work with ps5 out of box and I gotta configure it first?
You need an adapter plugged into the side of it (this method adds no lag since it’s only for authentication) and then you need to also enable arcade stick mode in the web configurator. In the web configurator section of the video I show how to enable this, and also check out the PS5 compatibility section of the video and I mention which adapters will work.
@@ChronoAscension how much an adapter cost and where do I buy that
@@J3msStar You can buy the Mayflash MagicBoots v1.1 adapter to get PS4 and PS5 compatibility.
Seems like it just works without now? is there any explanation for this? lol
It does need the magic boots plugged in the entire time because the PS5 does repeated checks to make sure your device is compatible.
Hello, to use it on a PC is it necessary to buy some type of adapter?
Or just plug it in and play.
How do I remap the extra buttons like you did for ps5? Trying to map it like yours.
Towards the end of the Web Configurator section I show how to set it up at 5:50
como cambioel rgb de la hitbox
Press Start + Select + Square to cycle between each mode. You can also setup extra custom LED profiles in the Web Configurator.
I can’t decide between this and the s16…
I have slim and long fingers and slightly large hands… I just can’t freaking decide lmao
I believe my hands sort of match this description and I prefer the T-Series to the S-Series for size.
@@ChronoAscension Thank You!!
hello, worked?@@Pichoniix
Do you have the smaller G16 as well? If so how is that compared to this?
thinking the same thing. dunno if i should go for the g16 or t16 model
That is some great info, will wait for the S series to see how that is.
I hope khail makes some low profile buttons that are super speed of V2
Hi 👋, Question 🙋
If I purchase the PS5 USB Brook instead of the Mayflash Magicboost do I still need to change the settings to make it work with the PS5?
If you use it in the default way of plugging the cable into the wingman then no, but I think that if you use the PS Passthrough method of plugging it into the controller, then you will have to change the setting for it to work.
If i only played ps5 games like tekken 8 but on steam do i still need the mayflash?
If you only play on PC there’s no need for any adapters, it’s just plug and play for PC.
I only have a ps5 and no pc…do I still need a converter ? And can I still map the buttons ?
You will need a converter to play on PS5 and you also will need a computer in order to map the buttons.
Oh ok thank you
Noob question here. This is considered legal for SF6 tournaments? I heard of the 11 Attack button rule doesnt this have more that that?
You can always unbind the buttons you don't need to lower the number of buttons.
Do i need an an adaptor for playing Tekken 8 on PC?
You do not need an adapter for playing on PC.
I also reccomend fightbox's as well. For a PC version leverless I only payed $100!
is the image u can choose just one image or can u get a image from google
The GP2040-CE website has some premade options for it, as well as in their Discord server some people have made some. It can be an image that is 128x64 size and black and white, and you can even make your own.
Got something similar (with less buttons) a few months ago. I still struggle with using my left thumb on the up button. Does anyone use their right hand for jumping/up?
A lot of people use their right hand for jumping with leverless controllers so I'd say give it a shot and see how it goes.
Why did the air bubble things flashed so quickly?
would the magic-s ultimate adapter also work?
From what I’ve heard, it does work for PS Passthrough.
is the button spacing the same for this one and the smaller version?
I compared it to the S16 and the M16, and the S16 has physically smaller buttons caps but scaled to size button layout except with a bigger jump button than the rest of its buttons. The M16 has a smaller body but the button cap sizes are the same and has pretty much the same button spacing as the T16. So the S16 is gonna be smaller but the M16 has the same spacing.
@@ChronoAscension Cool thanks for the information!
Thanks for the video! Can you please explain how did you configure the bottom buttons for drive rush (M2 pin 26) and parry (RS)? Thanks, great review.
The bottom right button is RS and the bottom left is LS so you just set those to be your drive rush or drive impact buttons in the in-game settings.
How big are the buttons? Are they 25mm or 30mm?
They are 26.6 mm
does anyone know how to install files for pa4 and actually set up?? i’m fucking struggling with this.
@@ChronoAscensionThanks for the video and replies! I ordered the T13.
I heard this controller may not be legal for CPT (street fighter 6) due to having too many buttons. Is that true?
Looking to buy
I don’t know specifically how many buttons you can have but you can always disable some of the extra buttons. I only have 2 extra which I know is legal at least. You also need to disable Dual Directional input since there’s 2 up buttons, and disable one of the L3 buttons. I show how to do so in the video if you need a visual on that.
Do you need an adapter to play PS4 ?
You can, but it will disconnect every 8 minutes without an adapter.
@@ChronoAscension will it work with a PS4 controller plugged in ?
You can use a third party PS4 controller that is licensed as a substitute for an adapter. The official PS4 and PS5 controllers will not work, and third party licensed PS5 controllers will not work either.
@ChronoAscension so this for playing ps4 games on a ps4 , will it work if you go into ps4 mode ?
Can the LS oe RS buttons be programmed into extra directional buttons since it already gives you two ups?
Yes, they can be mapped to their own inputs if needed in the web configurator, even as extra directional buttons.
Can i program M1 and M2 buttons combo on sf6?
Can u just plug in a wingman brooks and play on ps5
Do you have to buy a converter to make it work on ps5?
Yes, you just plug it in the side USB slot of the controller and enable it through the web configurator like I show in the video for no added lag like usual adapter methods do.

This or the fightbox?

You can use it in Xbox series?

@@ChronoAscension thanks
Ps5 compatible??
You need to go into the web configurator and make sure PS4 input is set to Arcade Stick. Then plug an adapter like the Mayflash V1.1 into the usb slot on the side and you’ll have lagless connection on PS4 and PS5. Keep in mind for PS5 it only works for fighting games not all games.
雖然聽不懂英文 但是看到下面的評論似乎是不錯的選擇
You said 15 button layout, dude it's called t16 for a reason! 16 buttons
Funny this was uploaded now because GP2040 devices now support Xbox so i guess add on another $30 for a the xbox magic boot and you basically can play on anything.
This will work on XBSX?
@@notalrighty Yes
@@MEGAWOP Is there a Tutorial for Dummies in order to do that? (I just Order this Product, and I have an Xbox Series S, and I would like to Know how to update the Controller when I received it)
Why not just get a keyboard?
generally more comfortable spacing of buttons, bigger caps, so you're going to hit the right buttons more consistently and have more comfortable play.
I saw Ali express 💀 can’t for 3 years to see my device
I got mine in 7 days
i got mine in 2 weeks
Got mine in a week
You can literally see shipment date. Avoid cheapskate sellers who uses free shipping that takes months and you are good. Luckily Haute42's official shop sends their product around a week
It's on Amazon too for ten dollars more got mine the same week thanks to Amazon prime two day shipping
They sent you the controller but didn’t tell you what to say😉
I want it
