I accidentally posted a less edited video (So sorry about the re-upload) Hope you can watch it one more time though as it would really help out! Comments too 😜
I accidently ended up in Japan for Sakura season. We had been told we were going a couple weeks too early. Turned out not to be the case as the Cherry trees bloomed on my first day in Nippon. I found Ueno Park was truly an experience to walk through see. The atmosphere of being among the trees was an impressive sight. The reverence and the happiness of the Japanese people seemed to encompass the park. I'll admit that I'm not the biggest flora fan, so after a couple days, I was less fascinated with the spectacle, than either the Japanese or my friends. However, I'm glad to have experienced this event personally, and recommend wholeheartedly to anyone who has any affinity for Japan and its people and culture to be able to encounter this season, at least once.
Sakura season forecasting is an art, I remember there was one season when they were expecting an early bloom and then all of a sudden there was a cold snap that paused the season and it ended up late! .. I agree I love people watching too, seeing locals in their element in Ueno park is an experience. I guess you are right, there is only so much Sakura you can do and after a few days you've prob exausted it!
