In other words, change everything while you’re in there doing this. Trim, deteriorative rubberized finishing parts, that are breaking down, etc. This is a weekend job for a novice. Better have a 2nd car to drive while the X6 is torn up. GREAT VIDEO!

First I like to congratulate you on a great!!! video how to take a Centre console out and take it apart like that. There is no video like that on UA-cam. I would like you help if it possible I have a problem with ashtray cigarette lighter can you please let me know if I can change the socket as it's not working the fuses are ok but there is no power coming through do you have to dismantle most of the console or is there a way just to pull it out please if you could be kind enough to let me know thank you
