Water In The Winter Part 3, The Economics and The Problems!

After over 5 weeks of use, we are starting to run out of water at our solar powered watering hole.
It's winter in Canada, unusually we have not yet had enough snow for the cows to eat, so we must pump water for them.
Ice build up in the puddle is causing issues with the pump, and we will have to move to a different pasture soon.
Its important to go over the economics of why we bothered with this setup in the first place, so we discuss that as well.
