I worked at Cosmic Aeroplane From summer of 1981 through winter of 1982. I worked downstairs in the head shop with Lisa and Tony and Uma and had a fabulous time! Just a wonderful place to work, especially in such an uptight city. Salt Lake in the early 80s was extremely conservative, and I remember there was a huge uproar when we sold a Spencer Kimball mask for Halloween. We always got to hear the new music first, read the latest books on counterculture first, I just feel like a part of the greater world. I loved that job and went on to open my own business years later. Bruce and Steve and Tony were all great to work for - there will never be another store like Cosmic Aeroplane.

I used to go there in the 70s. I have a poster of a concert at a venue called Abbey Road featuring Randy Hansen a Tribute to Jimmy Hendrix.

Ahhh yes, I remember perusing, buying a Llewellyn Press book about astral projection, a Grateful Dead poster, the Blues For Allah picture, maybe I should finally read Still Life With Woodpecker. Oh BTW love you on Antique Road Show ;)
