I made one of these using a magnetic locker internal design. 9 volt battery and a on/off switch. Much less fabrication needed. But this is awesome work guys.

After watching what was linked to and so everyone else can get a basic understanding: its essentially an "Piggyback Differential"/external diff lock/ different method of locking the rear diff mechanically with a diff mounted, chain coupled, mechanically actuated lock, rather than inside the diff itsself via air or solenoid. 😮 Its pretty clever if you cant modify or change out the diff for some reason (or dont want to disconnect axles and drive line) OR if you want the need to dynamically lock or unlock or change the diff mode without stopping. this would be even neater: make it a tad more modular so that you can basically change it from a full locker to an LSD or whatever without having to rip the axles and modify the main diff. Anyway, clever thing. Nice build.
Different solution but if it works it works! Nice change to see they wear eye-protection and welding mask that others dont. A finger or an arm and a leg you can live without, but having no eyesight is far worse.

Учитывая огромное количество токарных работ, можно было бы сделать блокировку внутри дифференциала моста 😁. Но идея неплохая. Какая цепь использована, 530?
