I'm so glad to see fans from overseas coming to my country and enjoy IRL locations of my favorite anime. Guys, come to Japan again when covid is end here. We are all brothers and always welcome!
I really want to go to Japan and camp near all the many beautiful places it has!! Let me grow up just a little more maybe 5 or 7 more years and then I am going solo camping!!!
I have only seen the first season of Yuru Camp, but I loved it and I also liked his video a lot. The view from the room was wonderful. Thank you very much for sharing! Greetings from Chile :)
It warms my hearts to see these places for real and I'm really amazed how much work was put in to make the anime. Yuru camp creators have my utmost gratitude for giving me a chance to see such beautiful scenery.
So the town from the show is easily accessible by public transit, the first and third campsite we went to is only accessible by car, but the main one from the show with the amazing view of mount Fuji is accessible by bus but the bus only runs once a day so you'd have to spend the night there. (Double check but that's what it was like during my trip)
guys watching cute anime girls camp during quarantine is not a good idea. you WILL want to go outside. great video as always, it's so satisfying seeing irl and anime frames blend into each other so perfectly!!
“She smelled the Weeb on us from a mile away!” 🤣🤣🤣 That was hilarious! I have been living in Japan since 1998, but not into anime, so I had never heard of Yuru Camp until yesterday (2021/03/17) when I saw a few Japan camping related videos back to back which had several posters in the comments mentioning ‘Yuru Camp’...which is how I found your vid. I guess hipster me and my bro have been doing ‘Yuru’/laid back camping for a few years now😄 (videos of some of them are on my channel, including my pre-Logan Paul Aokigahara solo overnighter)...without knowing that it was a ‘thing’...LOL! 🤣
Will you do another Yuru Camp pilgrimage tour when Season 3 comes out? (Yes it is confirmed but with different studio now). Especially to new campsites.
@@KindaNeet Not necessarily. From the sources I've read, it's because Japan had quite a bit of history interacting with the Dutch, and as a result, there are about 160 ish words of Dutch origin in use now.
the very first video i watched from your channel is the K-on real life vid.. man, today found your channel again in my feed, and I am binge watch most of your real life anime expeditions, i gotta say, it is fun and quality of your work has been getting better and better... subbed now, this channel deserves more subs for sure.... btw, more reasons to visit Japan... will go on an anime pilgrimage probably 1,5year from now, will probably visit Kanagawa pref, and the K-on school....
Thanks so much I really appreciate it! Make sure to check out the newer Anime Expeditions I've been releasing this year, waaaay better than these old ones!
Just completed the Yuru Camp Yamanashi pilgrimage! My first location was Lake Motosu and it felt so surreal for me. All I kept thinking was "holy crap, I'm actually here!" I was getting overwhelmed for some reason. Mt Fuji really is something else. No wonder Nadeshiko is so in love with it. Second location was Motosu High School but I didn't realise the school was actually closed and couldn't make it pass the front door :(. Lake Shibire was super magical. The cold froze the lake and it felt so otherworldly. My last location in Yamanashi was the Hottarakashi Onsen. Best place since they were tattoo friendly! Made a pitstop at Hamamatsu Betenjima Seaside Park to see the torri gate in the water that Rin was staring at in season 2. There were a bunch of other places I wanted to see but the snow was pretty insane in Yamanashi. Hoping to go to Izu next time I go to Japan!
That sounds like an amazing trip, I'm so jealous! I totally know what you mean by feeling overwhelmed to actually be there in person. The best feeling ever!
Great job on the location comparisons! I don't watch anime but am amazed at your dedication! I was looking for more info on the campsite to go camp when I came across a post on r/laidbackcamp. I thought it was a subreddit about laid-back camping (with anime in the banner... what?), eventually I realised it was an anime so I searched youtube and your video popped up.

Hey guys, I'm planning to visit Yamanashi for a few days in January next year! I'm so excited! I got my international driving permit today! Just wondering, was finding a car rental easy? Much love from Australia!
