Gladys, the 1970 MG Midget’s rebuild #2 - floor and sills

After a lot of cutting, filing, trial fitting, sanding, filing, welding and grinding, the rust is gone and the new steel is in place. Now onto preparing to paint

Great job guys! that was a pretty rusty car. Mine wasn't as rusty but just as big a mess. havent put the wheels on yet so hoping it works out as well as yours has. Looking forward to seeing the paint job.

Thank you! As always, it didn’t appear this rusty. A previous owner had put new sills over the original rusty ones! Oh well, we know it’s solid now for another few decades
