Interesting that Plank thinks Deal will be the ace of the team. I’m worried about her. She’s gained weight and that fire she had at the beginning of her freshman year went out by the end of it. And you don’t see it now, nor the confidence she had. I hope all is well with her and we see get to see the firery Kirsten again. She’s something special when she’s “Dealin’”! ❤🙏🏻
Um, what happened to the extra runner in the top of the first? Alana was on third and Nellie on second, then Maya got that bloop hit. Next batter up, it’s runners on first and third, but no runs scored? No one got out on Maya’s hit. Alana had to have scored for Nellie to be on third and Amaya on first. But it’s like a runner just disappeared with no out or run to account for it. 😮 I swear I don’t drink. BOOMER SOONER!!
I’ve played slo-pitch on an elite level (women’s and coed) and fast pitch on a semi-pro level; with the actual pitcher from “The Queen and Her Court” team-who literally was unhittable the entire season. Other than getting to catch her, it was the most boring season on my career. Fast pitch is a pitcher’s game. You get a good one and it can be a bore-fest for the defense. Slo-pitch a a hitter’s game and can be a lot more exciting and fun to play. Eder that same excitement inhibit-scoring fast pitch games. The only time slo-pitch is boring is when you have a lousy pitcher who anyone can homer off of. Oddly enough, you see that a lot on the men’s professional level (which is why they naw have a cap on the number of bombs allowed per inning). I pitched in slo-pitch and with a decent spin, you can force a lot of pop-ups from impatient batters who traditionally swing for the fences. No idea why these pros haven’t figured that out. 😉❤🥎
wow there's really no promotion for softball. I'm sad I missed this game😢
