Since we got there we were looked down by all the staff. It can be seen how annoyed they were to have turists around. I paid 6 tickets to get my family in the Boboli gardens and the Museo della porcellana. I asked the gentleman in the ticket office if the 10 Euro would cover the 2 attractions and he said yes. When we got up to the hill after a long hot walk, the museum was closed and we were at least 100 tourists walking around looking for the door of the museum and with a long face after feeling that we had lost 10 Euro. There was not a timetable whatsoever around the place. So I started asking to the staff about the museum, they couldn't care less and they sent me to 10 different people after one said that maybe it was closed because it was too hot or they didn't have enough staff... I went to ask for a partial refund at the ticket office when they guy started to LAUGH at me and told me it was not his problem and nobody could do anything cuz actually nobody was in charge. I snapped and very loudly told them that this is not a way to treat turists we come from very far away to be scammed like this. Then he showed me in a tv a very small sign that said that the museum was opening at 2. And he said that I should have seen this. Problem is that outside there were at least 3 Massive signs offering garden and museum for 10euro and no turist could be expected to see that small sign. I left with 60 bucks ĺess and a big feeling of disappointment. My advise is don't go to Palazzo pitti to be mistreated and to throw away your money. Customer service, signposting and toilets need a complete change.
To Bolivar: you has been there in the last summer correct ?. And payed six adult tickets, so as you say 60 euros. But before talk you should be think and say the intere truth, not only the part that you 'prefere'. The Boboli garden ticket comprend the SILVER MUSEUM (is one of the fours inside the Pitti palace wall). An amazing museum that value in my opinion 5 euros for entry. Anyway, you talk about dirty toilettes.. but do you have any idea about how many visitors comes there every day.. not for sure. At the ten a.m. the toilettes also at couse of uncivilized persons and guys, the service need to be clean again unfortunately. And i can assure you that the cleaning stuff do everything is possible. The Boboli garden is the most older monumental 30 ettari garden in Europe, and simply amazing especially in the top part where there is the Porcellane exposition. That day surely was closed at couse of insufficent stuff and you have reason about, but by the your words is like the Porcellane were the mainly attraction of the garden, while is only an open space less interesting thing, thrust me. You don't say a only word about the Bardini garden included in the ticket. Bardini garden is an not big but wanderfull space of old Villa Bardini with the greatest view on the city. Is in the top near Belvedere, do you had visit it or you are rest in front at the Porcellane exposition for one hour ?. The your sudgest to not visit Pitti palace is absolutely not the same opinion of many that when come out say to me thanks ..
