The complaint about the rolled strap didn’t make sense to me... that’s what the buckle is for.

Such an honest review. There are so many design faults on big brands that could be easily adjusted.

Thanks so much for this review. I am new to this type of bag and just got one today. I had no idea what to do with all that slack of the black strap and I had no idea the elastic band was a strap keeper. This is why I searched for "how to wear a kavu bag". You answered and showed exactly what I was looking for. Never would have figured that out on my own. Thanks again.

for my bag, the long strap with the elastic strap keeper... all you have to do is loop that elastic band over itself on the strap so that it is wrapped around the strap, then when you connect the straps together, the end of the one strap will be kept tight against itself. Hard to explain over a UA-cam comment, but it's literally one of my favorite features of the bag. Please try it!!

The excess part of the strap with the little elastic on the end of it is a pain. It dangles, somebody can grab it in busy/unsafe places and the elastic doesn't serve the purpose in keeping the role tight - it comes off all the time. I wouldn't go back and buy this bag again just because of that annoyance. They need to fix that design.

i wish it was designed to alternate shoulders, but it's intended to only be worn on the right shoulder. i have multiple problems with my right shoulder and right side of my neck, so i can't carry much weight in it, and only for a short time. i have worn it in front so that the weight is on my left shoulder, and i think it looks fine that way, and the items in it are very accessible. it was a gift so i couldn't return it.

Thanks for that insight! Is there a left-shouldered bag you prefer?

@@PackHacker2 i don't know of any. the person who bought the kavu bag for me knew of my right side neck and shoulder issues, and i'm sure thought it could be worn in the front and on the left shoulder. i never told her it's only intended to be worn on the right shoulder, and on the back. her heart was in the right place.
