While it is true there was a lifelike (for the day) figure of Abraham Lincoln that existed around the same time, what made Mickey more advanced was the fact they had to take what was in the 6 foot Lincoln and cram it into a frame that was about 1/3 the size
6:24 Those animatronics were just restored earlier this year (2021), so I had to watch that to compare their movements to what they look like today on Gran Fiesta Tour. Yes, they are now significantly smoother than they used to be.

I want believe they got rid of this at both parks, this looks so cool. As a kid and even now I'd be all over this. I love the animatronics and how libely they all are, espcially compared to the static figures in alot of other Disney Land attractions.
Actually all animatronics that were used in TDL were just reused from WDW, and Magic Kingdom closed Mickey Mouse Revue to move it to TDL instead of building a new one
I wonder what happened to Alice and the singing flowers . Because they can't be in Disneyland's Alice in Wonderland ride because it was updated in the 80's and by that point they were in Tokyo .

When I first saw the thumbnail in a book about Disney rides, I never knew who that mouse playing the clarinet was and thought that one of the ducks was Webby Vanderquack

Fun fact - The entrance was changed twice at magic kingdom, after Mickey Mouse revue closed, it was replaced by different attractions until mickeys philosopher magic starring Donald Duck which opened in 2003, which remains opened to this day.
I liked the song and I know this ride is old . But I do agree that the Three Caballeros sound rushed. It also doesn’t remind me of how the song originally sounded like in the movie. It just didn’t sound right. And I don’t mean to be rude to anyone or Disney.

Brer rabbit bear and Fox are better animatronics here than all splash mountain. I don't understand..... This was an attraction who nevera Will be close, yes, actualized, but the concept of the animatronics and the Disney characters deserves an eternal place. And.. why Mickey clothes are so Bad shaped.... This attraction Will come.again. surpassed any Classic. It's Walt Disney himself un heart and soul.
