JK's whole album is amazing and he has several songs that topped the charts. It came out in late 2023, so ARMY is hoping that the 2024 award shows will bag him all the awards he deserves. Unfortunately, he's not out of the military until 2025, so he won't be able to appear on the shows himself. 😞

Jungkook sang the 2022 FIFA World Cup official soundtrack song "Dreamer". He also performed it live at the opening ceremony. Please check it out.
The set and concept of the music video "Standing next to you" was inspired by the movie Romeo and Juliet by Baz Luhrmann. He released his solo debut album "Golden". The dance in "Standing next to you" is homage to MJ. The album is all in English. JK said he wanted to try different genre of music and wanted to challenge himself.
He also did a short mini concert on time square and only gave fans 30 minutes notice where he sang five of his songs from his album. You'll love it for sure. It's amazing! Thousands showed up at times square.
I highly recommend you to react to "Seven", "3D", "Closer to you" from his album Gloden.
I am not sure you noticed, but the background dancers are some of the worlds most famous dancers. Brain Puspos, Ian Eastwood and others. Keone Madrid choregraphed the song.

It's pronounced more like Chawn-Goo(g).
The Korean character that we romanize as "K" is also pronounced as a k/g combo depending on where it is in the word.
Sometimes it's a true G sound. And sometimes it's a "stopped" sound like at the end of a word (the way we say hotdog).
There is a hard "k" sound character in Korean, but his name is not spelled with it.
BTS is different from the other Korean artists because they have all had solo music from the begining. They also had an unprecedented degree of creative autonomy. Which is why they were not stiffled and were able to stay together over 10 years, even all living together 8 of those years. Encouraged to develope very different individual musical identities by their leader RM and the rest of the rap line, They all call JK a genius. Despite being very successful record breakers in their own rights. They all agree he is their main vocalist. He is the most traditional pop artist of the group. Their individual tastes and individual solo albums are all very different. Only Jin did not have time to put out his album yet as he enlisted first. Only having time for a solo collab with Coldplay ASTRONAUT. We expect him to put out his solo album whilst waiting for his BTS members to finish their national service. As it takes a great deal of fitness, discipline and core strength to sing and dance complicated choreo at the same time. They have excelled in their military training. Other solo albums to check out 3 rappers... RM INDIGO experimental album combining rap or lyrical rap with various genres and collaborating with many solo artists including ERYKAH BADU and Youjeen of CHERRY FILTER. RM gives us the diary of his 20s every track a different genre and rap collab. J Hope JACK IN THE BOX , Rap rock debut solo concert sold out mainstage at Lollapalooza 120,00......
D DAY Agust D( aka Suga) , sell out stadium tour mainly Rap with deep meaningful lyrics. Then the vocal line excluding Jin, FACE by Jimin. genres Dance, Pop Kpop, Rap
LAYOVER by V genre R&B Soul Jazz. GOLDEN by Jungkook of which this song is the main track various Pop genre cross over blends with Soul RB, dance etc.
