I have an ideal of what your thinking cam wise just becareful due to what stall speed convertor you will need to support it with drive ability. What gears are you running in the rear? Also first gen Camaro suspension is a direct bolt on for your car.
I have a manual so no worries about stall speed haha Gearing i'm looking into... but also not in the conventional way haha I gotta make some calls before I can confirm it'll work though
Maby a good cam and vortec head combo (even iron ones) pretty good bang for buck...hotrodders and super chevy have proven this combo multiple time...but yeah LS ! ....years ago i put 7 inch halos on my nova lol
Yeah I had thought about that, but i'm not really wanting to get some old crusty used ones, and new ones (even rebuilt used) people ask enough for them that for just a couple hundred bucks more I could some pretty sweet heads that'll perform better out of the box. I'm still deciding what I want to do, i'm leaning towards aftermarket... a lot of manufacturers have some pretty sweet mid level or even lower level options on the market these days that are super tempting...
Check out black widow mufflers. Good quality, great sound, no drone. A little pricey but I think they’re worth it
