Why Chicago Bears NEED TO Trade NFL #1 Pick and build around Justin Fields instead of Caleb Williams

- T. J. Houshmandzadeh is all in on Justin Fields as the Bears franchise quarterback, and with the amount of picks you can get for the #1 NFL draft pick, you can build a young team around a solid, young quarterback, but you have to trust your talent evaluators.

My thoughts exactly. Fields is fine, build a TEAM.
👊💯
Lol what do you mean he's fine? They're going to have to pay him and he hasn't proven shit. This is the logic the Giants did with Daniel Jones and now they're fucked.
How is the rookie QB reset working with Carolina, Jets, steelers, Patriots, and Titans? Get another stud receiver opposite Moore, another Center, and another pass rusher opposite Sweat and the Bears are ready for a deep playoff run next year.
Left out Houston. Wonder why?
@@kevinc8955so you agree OSU is making the best QBs now?
Ummm cuz this is how it works….when your QB is average. You try and upgrade. How can you NOT take a chance on a QB when you have a QB that continuously fails
@@kevinc8955Dude, I’m a Bears fan but I’m happy for Stroud. He seems like a good guy. Houston has a great group of guys and a well balanced team around him. The coaching and offensive coordinator are also solid. There’s always exceptions to the rule!
@@bigdogstatus83 let’s also remember Will Anderson changed their entire defense
Finally, someone who is using same example of Lamar changing the QB position and cause double jeopardy for D front trying to rush. Yes, you need a ready #2 if Justin has an injury due to his play style.
need Dobbs as a backup ngl
Justin fields shows flashes of a dynamic runner and passer get him another receiver to pair with Moore and a offensive minded coach with a scheme that aids his strengths and you’ll have something special
Showing flashes in year 3 isn't cutting it. His 5th year option is coming up. You paying Justin Fields 35 million and then potentially extending him with the production he's shown right now? Resetting that QB clock with an elite QB is invaluable. It allows the Bears to pay for someone like Brandon Aiyuk or potentially Tee Higgins on top of other talent.
Look at the pocket passers Burrow...always hurt, imagine him in Fields situation...he would be in a coma
He would of retired early like Luck did
Thinking the Bears are on the verge of putting it all together, resetting at QB would stall that process by 2 years.
Media want CW here to keep the bears as the same sorry ass organization still searching for QB instead of drafting MHJ and haul of picks to finally move forward and create new revolution of offense in Chicago and grow beyond its rich history of defense
Great assessment TJ!!💯💯
TJ I love your mindset here. I use to have hate for you bc of the interview years back with Waddle. But I found a new respect for you after this.
So happy that you “Get it”
No one talks about this kids 4th quarter flops. Check his stats out for the 4th quarter. High pressure situations he flops. End of season now he does decent? We need a qb that with 2min left you know he's gonna drive that ball.
Hoosh is spot on
💯 i agree especially all the picks with poles being a former scout he can really put his imprint on this team..
Nice breakdown, dirty birdz + Fields!
When talking about the Bears, the "Caleb Vs Justin" debate is not an accurate assessment. The Bears don't lose the Number 1 pick if they don't take Caleb. To make it easier to understand, we can use a simple equation: (Number 1 overall pick) and (Justin Fields) = (Number 1 overall pick) and (Justin Fields). On the left side of the equation, substitute (Number 1 overall pick) with (Caleb Williams) and substitute (Justin Fields) with (traded for a 2nd round pick). On the right side of the equation, substitute (Number 1 overall pick) with a (trade down for Marvin Harrison and a 2nd round pick). The new equation should now look like: Caleb Williams and a 2nd round pick from trading Justin Fields = Marvin Harrison and a 2nd round pick and Justin Fields. ThoughtKNerd Tip for Today: Math doesn't lie!!!
the same way they say if you put fields with those atlanta guys is how i view if you put him with mhj and dj moore
They could build the team to be so good that you don’t need a great quarterback to win.
Spitting facts
Great insight. Call poles and tell him
I just gave TJ Ryan Poles phone ☎️ number….stay tuned 👀
Now we need to draft caleb
Trading the Panthers pick twice this draft is the best option if take Joe Alt and Jer’Zhan Newton with our picks at the top of the draft
Trade Fields you have 3 top 10 picks. basically gaining a first round pick with at worst the same tier quarterback if not better, and way cheaper to free up that money to pick up another baller.
NO! Do NOT trade this Pick!
The ONLY place I would be comfortable trading to would be #2 or maybe #3...
Other than that, absolutely NOT!
DRAFT MARVIN HARRISON JR!
That kid is the real definition of "Generational"!!!
Plus, they would still have a pick in the top 8-12, so they will have another shot at a great Left Tackle, a superstar TE, another tall and fast WR, an Edge player of Defense, or even a Defensive Tackle out of Illinois.
They have the Draft won at that point!
What he said!!!
Chicago needs to keep Justin
Remember TJ is a former Patriot, and there's a concerted effort to get the Bears to pass on Caleb so that other teams like the Patriots will have a chance at him! Don't be fooled by this Bears fans!!
We'll see. I think the test should be on Sunday - can they beat the Packers at Lambeau? If not, it's time to move on from JF.
Please send Justin Fields to the ATL
Haschmazzouli makes a good point. Trade the pick
Carolina just need a new owner
JF1 is my QB1!!!!! Bear Down!!
So he not good enough too stay..but your saying he's trade value is a 1 pick clown
He’s our New Michael Jordan we’ll be foolish to trade Fields he’s only 24 years old
We had the 6th easiest strength of schedule and our record at one point was 2-7! What I would like to see is JF traded to Atlanta for some picks. Former Bears GM Ryan Pace is in charge of player personnel. They can reunite. Follow the Texans blueprint, QB, Edge Rusher, WR. Texans got CJ Stroud, Will Anderson, and Tank Dell. They got a great team to build with. We should go Caleb, Dallas Turner, Adonai Mitchell.
Nah, draft Williams, sign Wilson as his backup. Flip Fields for a 2 and a 3 Instant upgrade to the QB room. Grab a Wr at 8. Use your second rounder to get a 3 tech, a Center or a free safety.
I’m glad you’re not the Gm
You won’t get a 2 for Fields and these pundits that are suggesting a 1st rounder have lost their minds. Maybe a 3 which could drop to a 4 if he has a trash game against GB.
He’s gone regardless.
@@kevinc8955 Justin isn’t going anywhere. Now move on
@@kevinc8955 You can get a 2 in this market.
Lmaooo why do we want a 2 when can get 3 ones make it make sense!!!
Thank you every real bears fan know we need Marvin Harrison jr.
Real talk!!!
Trade the #1 for a haul
No No justin fields is that qb, they need draft a qb
Justin is a good QB. Will not reach his full potential with Bears.
Nah dumb we need caleb williams fields below average passer. Not trying see bears pay below average passer 45 million plus contract a year.
FALCON CAN HAVE HIM ..GIVE ME CW..🐻👎
Another slow person worrying about the Bears. Mind yo business bruh.
😂 Laughable one sided beat down as expected. Justin fields is the most overhyped qb since Jamarcus Russell
JF is not really that good.....Nobody wants a QB where his best skill is running and not passing.
Yeah Bears going to get a 3rd for him, and that’s only if he doesn’t lay an egg against GB. That might drop even further if they get trucked by Love again and he doesn’t show out.
Personally I think he’s getting traded regardless of how bad the package is for him though.
@@kevinc8955 There is a lot hype for JF in the media and fan base...but the scouts and GMs no his strengths and weaknesses. It only takes one team to get caught up in the JF hype such as Atlanta for example you never no what might happen in the trade market in a biding war if the Bears move off of JF.
@@charlesd479 funny, this is the same narrative that was said about Lamar. Apparently Justin "can't pass", yeah ok.
@@IllMatic97 Lol what? Lamar had impact right away in Baltimore. Wtf are you talking about? Lamar won the MVP his second year in the league. Justin has not shown he can even pass the ball properly in his third year.
Fields is more “talented” than Tannehill but he’s not a better QB. Cam Newton was more “talented” than Drew Brees but who has a ring?
Drew had way better weapons than Cam.
@@menofyah7934 Steve Smith, Kelvin Benjamin and Greg Olsen? Ok.
He has ring and cam don't due to race bias at the QB position that super bowl was was rigged for peyton manning to go out on top Cam through that game.
@@menofyah7934 Both had good enough weapons to get to the Super Bowl but only one won it.
@thescrolls9190 how long was Kelvin Benjamin in the league?
Man you have to pay Justin $45M a year for 3 years, basically few mil above what Daniel Jones got.
Why would any GM bet his life on Fields improving, and he will improve but he clearly isn't that good.
Hey clown nobody is going to give the Chicago Bears 3-4 first round draft picks for the number one overall draft pick. If that pick is that valuable why would the Bears pass on that quarterback and risk him being a a generational quarterback. It makes no sense for the Chicago Bears and any GM that would trade 3-4 first round draft picks for the number 1 overall draft pick needs to be fired immediately. That would cripple your team for decades
That's very stupid and dumb if you trade the pick. Your justin field is below average qb.
Justin is not "below average" ma boi, if you're not watching games then your opinion doesn't really matter. No doubt Justin has to get better but his main problem has been anticipation and holding on to the ball, below average qbs don't do the things Justin does and this Bears team can win with him at qb. Josh Dobbs is below average, Tommy Devito is below average, O'Connell is below average. Calling Justin below average when Jalen Hurts and Lamar Jackson are starters in this league is a short bus take, none of these QBs coming in the 24 draft have proven nothing to make you think their worth a team taking them on. All this hype around Caleb and he hasn't even takin a snap yet, nfl fans always fall for the hype. Not surprised, nfl fans are slow.
@IllMatic97 he is too. Besides that he started three years now and can't even compete with Jordan love.
