Thanks Alex, we may never see a Uke like the Cedar again, then you played it and we may never hear one like it again either. So clear and the sustain was ridiculous. Loved the Mango as well stunning wood. Sound was beautiful. Thanks for sharing, so jealous of the new owners. Have a great week.
Great video Alex, what an amazing story about the cedar wood! I always enjoy listening to your enthusiastic and detailed explanations plus being amazed at the tones that come across the internet… thank you!
As always, thank you, Alex, for sharing these. That Dogu is a stunner - the breadth of the sound is remarkable, and the sustain is incredible! That mango is also fantastic - love the sweet projection, and that’s after falling for the shape and inlay work. I shudder to think about the prices, tho… I’m not gonna even look!

Blimey the cedar top is magnificent. The sustain is off the scale....

Can you elaborate a little bit as to what makes a ukulele classical guitar style? I love to play that type of music on my ukulele.
The wood combination... classic guitars tend to have soft wood tops *spruce/cedar and reflective back and sides like mahogany or rosewood substitutes.
Nice instruments but for me personally the bling is a bit too much, especially the strange man on the fretboard of the cedar model.
That cedar. Wow, just wow. I feel unworthy to even listen to it.
