I understand that Rhythm is different than Timing. I just can't arrange words to explain it. I think rhythm has the feeling. While good timing is like being in sync with the metronome or in sync with the clock's tic. Rhythm is better than timing because it comes out of your feeling, your not thinking too much while playing it... Although my comment is a bit different topic. Thanks for sharing your 'ukulele wisdom
Rhythm can be defined as the measure of gaps between noises (to put it simply). Timing is the ability to perform rhythm accurately. What constitutes 'accurate' will depend on on many things, like your musical traditions or what genre you are performing in. Hope this helps.
