She’s a beauty! I always like to go and feel how soft the leather is. I don’t use her often, but she’s definitely a classic beauty and I think I great addition to any wardrobe.
Spending $20,000 on a handbag vs spending $200 on a *hotdups* bag and investing the remaining $19,800 is the obvious choice since a $20,000 bag is unlikely to increase in value

It seems they’re selling pretty well. I have noticed unless it’s a color that isn’t selling well, Coach rarely does a sale on the Tabby’s or Rogues - particularly in neutral colors. So if you love it, don’t sit too long 🙃

Great review...thank you. I am picking up the black/silver bag tomorrow (first day of my birthday month so 10% off!). I would have gone for the black/gold version but I have that one in the regular Tabby 26. I, like you, will not be using this bag everyday, but on special occasions or nights out. Thx for the helpful hints, especially not bending the flap back too much. I hope that I love mine as much as you do!
How did you enjoy picking up your beauty? I ended up sadly not keeping this beauty. She was a stunner, but she just didn’t work out for me.

Did the clasp get easier to open with use over time on your bag? I’m just in the process of doing an exchange with my Moss Quilted Tabby 20 for that issue and I’m hoping the replacement doesn’t have the same issue with the mechanism getting stuck. I love the quilted tabby style so I’m hoping I can find one that’s not irritating as heck to get open! 😂
@@itsaLozziething it did get easier. I figured out the trick to it. There’s a slight little divet on the clasp and you kinda push off of it from there to open it.

I received mine today with silver hardware, it is stunning. I have noticed the same issue with my pushlock closure.. I hope that with time it will get better
Congrats! Isn’t she a beauty?! I did end up figuring it out. Behind the ‘C’, there’s a little divet where you place your finger behind and it more simply pop out that way. Mine still requires a little shimmying, but it’s not a daily bag for me so I’ve given it a pass.

Do outlet stores have Quilted Tabby?
I think they are starting to see some but not in the core colors.

I love the look of the Quilted Tabby, but unfortunately i wouldn't get much use out of it because it's just a little dressier than my style. If I had it, I probably would use it twice year. And i can't justify the price for an occasion bag. I do have 2 regular Tabby 26s. And a couple of SWAGGERS. Love Dooney also.
I totally thought that too, but you definitely should try it in person! I’m not a fancy dresser myself and this bag is much more versatile than it looks. Dooney is another brand I enjoy although don’t currently have any in my wardrobe.
There's a button behind the C you push it to open.
This one is a little different and doesn’t have the button. But I did figure it out 🙃 It has an indentation behind the ‘C’ and you pull from there. Thank goodness - otherwise it would have driven me crazy!

I think the fabric lining cheapens the bag but otherwise beautiful!
This textile fabric is actually one I like and fortunately, there’s still a lot of leather particularly on the flap and the important parts where many designer bags maintain leather as well when placing fabric lining. She’s a beauty!
