I was watching some streamers the night the update came out and they just kept playing this level for 4 or 5 hours. I just don't have that type of patience and determination when it comes to video games at least.
OMG YES PLEASE MOAR OF THIS!!! fr tho it's all just practice. i play a mobile game (bleach: brave souls anyone?) where one of the daily game modes for your team is literally speedrunning. I spend around 1 hour a day getting a good time on the level, so yeah that's what's involved. with more time you would have made 19s. 1 hour is just introductory in the speedrunning world ;)
Mr A-Game, you did much better than I did in the Ninji speedrun! It's hectic, I will say. The only thing I dislike about the event is that the two levels that were built exclusively for the run aren't available after it's done...that is, I assume this is the case. I think you can cut down on one or two twirls through your runs, one for sure at the pokeys on the slope, the other one should be at the big snowballs. But either way, great to see you're enjoying the update and I can't wait to see more content from you! Keep up the amazing work!

@@MrAGame Honestly though, watching you figure out some of the well-thought-out troll levels (the ones that had design/thought put into them, as opposed to just crap NUR-HUR ones) was great back in the day. That said, I'm an educator too (English-language teacher), so it was especially interesting to me watching another educator's learning process in levels specifically designed to thwart/subvert expectations.
Mr A-Game I know... I understand why it had to change. But I always used to watch your videos because a lot of them were really entertaining. I pretty much agree with Ode to a Grasshopper. They’re still definitely entertaining, but I’m just saying I do miss how it used to be. Regardless, I think you do great work. Definitely one of the best UA-camrs out there.
VortexPGO DGR actually said it gave him a faster time to run instead of slide. I’ll bet A-Game can get it sub-20, maybe sub-19.5 if he runs on those slopes.

Yes sliding on high slopes slows you down sliding on less steep slopes speeds you up

Also, try not twirling in the air. If you can do jumps without twirling, then you'd probably beat DGR
