      Very interesting! Now i want to do a lactate test like this myself. Just out of interest to know where to categorise myself. Any students in vienna, Austria in need of a lab rat? :D

    Hi, new subscriber. I just posted the following on a video you made 2 years ago, but I am not sure if you go back and read comments, so here it is concerning the video where you made a race comparing all the top UA-cam cycling creators: Post: Great video and idea! This needs to be a yearly race... Tour de Tube. What does the winning jersey look like? Seriously, make an actual jersey and send it to the winner, then feature them. Content that grows content.

    I cringe so hard at these kind of over the top thumbnails, insane.

    We always want what we don't have I think. I would love a good sprint but have to be happy with my climbing ability. I have noticed if I train my weakness which is sprinting/punchy efforts my cycling improves the best.

    I was a track sprinter, and i got up to 19 mmol, but I had a teammate who could reach up to 24 mmol. He used to throw up a lot after 1km TT's (kilo's)

    So it is Z2, ok.
    But more interesting, and no one does it, would be real world simulation, you can not always hold that Z2 or what ever zone you want to hold because of hills, because of wind, because of your mate half wheeling you..... so if we ride Z2 and jump into Z17 000, what then, are we finished for today or we need to cool down for 2 hours or we can ease it for 30 mins or ......?

      @DiegoAjassaPhotography Рік тому +1

      The usual consensus is that if you go over threshold for some time than your body switch and you need at least 30 min to go back to a proper Z2 training. That's probably what makes an easy training actually hard to do

    This channel is awesome! Please do another lactate test a few months from now.
    To clarify so I understand...80% at just under LT1 and 20% above LT2 at various intensities (1 min, 5 min, 10 min, etc.) ?
