That is an impressive show of fabrication, i built a small one myself years ago that i used behind an old Super A that i had, i designed it to connect to the rear tool bars but it was nothing compared to what you built there. There is just a sense of satisfaction that can't really be explained when you build your own stuff.
Built one for my daughter but so far have not worked out all the bugs. Over engineered in some areas & under in others. Yours seems to work great. Thanks for the vid.
You can hopefully use this to do your own calculations, the plastic costs .04 cents per lineal foot and the roll comes in 3,4,5 foot widths. the above price is for the 4 foot i hope this helps.
We don't usually we have very heavy top soils if I get desperate I can start a house running at the top end and it will fallow the edge of the row to the bottom, about 1 hour between resetting the hose. We halve a 28 gal per minute well.

you and i and the rest of the mechanical folks get it how great it feels.

I have a few bugs to work out also
What are the dimensions of your mulch layer (L X W)? Thanks. Looking at building one on my farm in SC.
hi there nice job well made layer john
Came out alright not perfect though some of the arms could use a little more travel
I would suggest a drop spreader for fertlizing. Might make your life easier.
I would lose what little exercise I get. It gives me a reason to walk some.
@@survivingmaineona20acrefar77How many acres are you doing like that?
@@KrazyKajun602 only 1.5 , I could do it all in one he if I wanted to.
Neat video. I was never really sure how that was done
I will do another video with the camera on the back and that will show the rest of the workings
The row will be ok, as long as a snake won't break its back going down the row.
You dont use drip tape? Justa another Mainer asking. West Paris, ME
No our soil is very heavy. just pulling the plastic up after the worst drought in years. things did stress but did fine.
Hi how big is the row and one row can cover how many hectare. How much cost a row

Would you be willing to send pictures and a few measurements of your mulch layer
If you go back in my video selection there is a video on the way it was made
I'm just curious as to how you irrigate.

What are you planting under plastic ?
Peppers tomatoes squashes the usual stuff that a small truck farm does
@@survivingmaineona20acrefar77 I was curious because I didn't see drip under the plastic to water the rows. Thx
