You described the mystique of an old jewelry box and the spirit that lives within perfectly. I really enjoyed the more quiet periods when it was just you going through it at your own pace. Allen was so charming.
I volunteer at a local charity thrift store in the jewelry department and it always amazes me the jewelry that comes in. We are not allowed to have estate sales or garage sales in my area, so everything ends up at the thrift stores. I have learned so much about jewelry from youtube and time working at the thrift.
Thank you Dawn! watched this yet again! love to see the opening of the antique jewellery box, a couple of which contents I wear & treasure every day, it is such a touching & heartwarming sight & such a particular & lovely aesthetic which I think we can all enjoy, thanks so much for bringing us this content, plus the estate sale haul was certainly one of the finest
I love the jewelry box! I was asked to go through my husband’s mom & grandmother’s jewelry that had been seen let alone worn in 16 years. Felt like a treasure hunt!
It is so good to see you selecting items...and eyeing the details, kind of scares me to think of items I have donated!!! And...I could see your over shoulder bag...since I was a 'mark' for picketpocketers and learned a lesson I would like to advise I had a small zippered bag, with a zippered wallet inside, my car keys on top of them. A 'team' apparently knew what they were doing, I was blocked in an aisle in a store and one person was in front of my cart trying to pull down a plastic covered cushion on a top shelf...told he to let me get out of his way he said he just wanted to 'grab' the one item, plastic sticks together when in tight space and I tried to 'help' him by holdling the packs next to his 'target' with my bag hanging off my shoulder hanging behind me. So please use a zippered bag and carry it in front of you. I never felt anything, they were good at what they do! Please be careful.
Hi Dawn, that silver panel bracelet with the moonstones looks like traditional Sardinian jewelry and you're probably right for the 800. Could that last necklace be Israeli? I have a chain that looks just like that marked Israel. Thanks for taking us along 😊
So I’m just catching up on old videos obviously. Really interesting watching you do the flash round with the collection. I have the Forget-Me- Not earrings to match that pin. I think they’re porcelain?
I just happed on your channel I retired during covid as a Chef and started buying Goodwill Blueboxes 4 months ago watching Dr. Lori. I love your channel and have learned so much already binging your channel!
I think I am hooked Dawn ~ this is fabulous fun ~ is your migraine gone away? Anyway I am going to look through my personal vintage pieces and see if I have any goodies. Thank you for sharing your gifts of knowledge. 🕊🤍🕯🧚♀️
All the chit chat while you looked through the boxes, reminded me of evenings with friends. 💗 The little blue flower necklace at the end is just lovely. Thanks Dawn. Take care and stay Fabulous! 🤗 💖✌️
This person should of gave it to a women history museum. The USA started on the east coast. You look to be near New Jersey. Especially the Grandma had achieved an honorable challenge when women were not given an equal chance for an outstanding profession, WOW!

I think the old box possibly says, 'Gloves'.
That older gentlemen is so sweet and seems full of stories. I would love to send him a letter!

Dawn, that woman pricing the jewelry almost made my head pop off when she said you didn't give her enough money. She seemed a bit crabby.
