What used to put me off dark ambient in the past, is the fact, that it made me experience difficult, inharmonious emotions, when I listened to it for longer sessions. But nowadays I realize, that no emotion is inherently bad or good and listening to dark ambient, helps fortify that realization. I quite enjoy dark ambient and the feelings it makes me feel nowadays and I feel very drawn to it.
