Actually, our ancestors have always guided us right but later on, few modern day pandits and astrologers started playing games in the name of planets (some did because of money and some did due to lack of understanding and knowledge).
Also, today's generation do not want to keep their karma clean and get punished by the planet and also by the astrologers.
