3:58 - This is called thuch aasakti - thuch aasakti is attachment for things not related to Krishna.
The result is two :
1. If you get it, after getting it you become proud and you anticipate respect from other people.
For eg, if you got what you want in life, after getting it you want to go and show off to others. That is called prathista aasha - that means, you have expectational respect from others.
5:17 - and in case you didn't get.. Then matsa rathaa comes. He got what i wanted. i didn't get it and you develop matsa ratha. It always keeps biting you, stinging you in the mind, your mind burns because of envy for others who achieved what you wanted. You had attachment for something but that is gone to somebody else
The result of both is kuti naati. Duplicity.

These 5 things keep pinching the mind of the living entity:
Pleasure
People
Position
Possession
Penny
Similarly in companies also people have aspirations for position and that haunts their mind. If somebody else gets, they become envious. If they got, they become proud.
Possessions - dhanam janam sundari.
If you're Krishna conscious, youll engage all the 5 senses in Krishnas service.
10:26 Don't be envious. Don't have expectation for presitage. A devotee is always in the mood of service.
11:20 in this way, there is no need for prathista aasha.
Thucha icha
Matsa ratha or pratistha aasha
The result of this is kuti naati
These 4 together is hrud daurbalyam
12:19 So if we also give up our point of view and accept Krishnas point of view, then this weakness of heart will go away. But when we keep our own mundane outlook to things of the world, then this attachment cannot be escaped.

Two types of weakness of heart : 1. To Lord over the things of the world. 2. Become attached to them and become their slave.
Attachments become audha synya.
You have to get rid of these attachments if you want to chant the Holy name properly.
Krishna is above your upsc also. He is above all, above millions of demi gods.
We are calling Him, and these are all thucha icha. So give up all the material leavings and awaken the spiritual leaving towards Krishna.

Thank you Prabhuji 🙏🏼,most of the time out of fear I'm inactive,sometimes our superiors by understanding our situation will advise me that sravanam is also a service and that's enough ,but paramatma in my heart constantly reminding me that since millions of lives you're trying to be happy here by adjusting the situations temporarily,but very rarely you will find the association of Guru and his good instructions,then what to do?please kindly explain,whose instructions should i consider?

Hare Krishna prabhuji ji, why people are charging money to learn bhagavad gita full course verses by verses. They give 3 or 4 sample lecture, then they charge for full course. What is the truth behind it ? What is difference between paid and free bhagavad gita as it is, lecture verses by verses ?
So that temple can continue preach Kṛṣṇa Consciousness and provide services to needy people for free.
@@HKB108 is there any free course to understand bhagavad gita full 18 chapter shloka by shloka in english and hindi language, so that people can understand as it is. Because after buying gita they face too much difficulty to understand, they try to understand in there own perspective. when they don't understand it. they stop reading, if we ask money for course to learn gita they reject it. Then gita stays close in there home for many years, they're unable to access knowledge. Basically in India most of the houses they have gita. I guess we should also sell free courses of gita through youtube or website.

I've got associated to iskcon gita courses recently and I never came across any paid course until now.. I went to the temple on Janmastami once and gave my name for Gita courses. Then they called me when the new batch started which was online course and it was completely free.
Most of the other iskcon devotees also preach for free only in general as far as I've seen
