“You’re Carrying Me" was written after songwriter, Casey Corum, experienced an unexpected end to his role as a senior worship pastor. In the ensuing season, Casey had the distinct sense that the Lord was not only carrying him and his family through the difficult time, but that the Lord was also running into a new future. Written in response to this deep sense, “You’re Carrying Me” carries the tangible immediacy of that season in its essence.

I have listened to this song about 300 times as my wife passed away from brain cancer....it has sustained me and encouraged me so many times...now that she has passed and hanging out with Jesus I still listen every night before I go to bed. The Lord carried me in His arms. I didn’t know at that time that He was healing me. 2 months later the nearing 4 cm tumour was vanished without treatment baffling the docs. I was preparing to be with Him but I have work yet to do. I trust You Lord, and in You alone.
