Happy Thanksgiving! We felt this was a fitting video for today. If you're interested in learning more about remote training with Tread, go here: treadathletics.com/contact-us/massco We recognize that the front angle is slightly out of focus - we tried using a different lens to bring you guys a new look, and will get this adjusted for future videos! -Ben
So awesome! I pitched in college at 6’1” 195 in the mid 1990’s and threw mid to upper 80’s but I was weak. I would have loved to of had this knowledge back then but it’s why I study it today and have returned to school to get my doctorate of chiro and a masters in strength and human performance so I can be in this field and teach young athletes about maximizing potential. I could watch this channel all day. Thank you for the content.
Mlb big, mlb strong, mlb lean. Freaking love the video, awesome!!! Please do more of this, where you give us specifics metrics/numbers that help throwing hard 🔥
Generally around puberty, but starting to be exposed to resistance training before that isn’t a problem, there just won’t be much to show for it until testosterone kicks in. Youth is a time to play multiple sports/positions, develop athleticism and learn to move/throw efficiently.
Great infromation im currently 127ish throwing mid 60s as freshman, I know not good at all, my goal is currently hit 165 weight. Try to be similar to ben joyce journey.
Long levers tend to be an advantage, all else equal. However, there’s a point where it may be detrimental, which is why you don’t see too many 6’8” or taller pitchers.

Couldn't a bigger guy just do the same program and get twice as better than the little guys?
