I just love these cards, Mary, I took the snow globe card and changed the church to a castle to make a birthday party invitation for my granddaughter's 4th birthday! She loves it and can't wait to pass them out to her friends next month.
I also thought, Christmas in July, but that make sense, because if you do want to make very specialized cards like these, it's going to take time to put together. I might just get a head start on Christmas cards.
This was great. I've been everywhere looking at video on layering colors. This is far the best. Thank you, thank you.... Do you have one on a more multiple color figure maybe and taking it on into the print and assembly? I just can seem to get it with some of the others that seem to be so unprofessional and not really to well done.
I love the designs and the cards come out spectacular. Constructive comment however, I'd love it if you took more time doing the "how to vids" I'm not adverse to running them back over and over, however, it just seems like you make errors (from time to time) I'd prefer if you'd just reshoot so I don't make the same ones. I always watch through the at last once so I can catch the little details.
Im a little overwhelmed with all thats in the kit....when you bring it into design space... do you bring them all? what does it mean when it says color 1 color2? head is spinning.
hello- im making the plane box card, is it supposed to cut the tabs on the base? mine did not cut (what looks like) fold down tabs on the front and 2 sides. Should the pattern be cutting that?
+Jaline B Thanks! I like American Crafts Cardstock the best, which is about 80lb cardstock. Other cardstock from the craft store is similar and I think having a textured cardstock is nice as opposed to "smooth" cardstock. (The American Crafts and some other brands have a very faint basketweave type of texture on one side, which makes for a nice finished look and hides any little flaws a bit better than smooth cardstock.) Hope that helps! ~Mary
The page says you can't cut these out on a 8x11 mat but it doesn't look like the individual pieces are too big to each fit on that mat. Why wouldn't you be able to cut these one piece at a time?
svgcuts Why can't I ungroup the individual pieces within a file? I never had trouble doing that with any other cuts I do on my Silhouette. If I could do that I'd have no trouble cutting them out. Also, the dash marks that are supposed to be cut out as score lines are not grouped with the shapes, I keep having to move them separately.
4kidsandacat The score lines being separate is something that happened in version 3 of SSDE. We haven't changed anything. SSDE v3 is a little wacky with the way it handles layers. We don't recommend this kit for 8.5x11 machines and can't guarantee it'll work, but if you want to try, you can ungroup items using the tips in this article: svgcuts.com/blog/2013/11/26/separating-svg-files-with-score-lines-in-scal-and-ssde/
We do Christmas cards in July to give people enough time to mass produce handmade cards. If we waited until Nov/Dec, it wouldn't give people enough time.

The 3D box card kit has been a great hit with family and friends so I had no hesitation in downloading this new kit.

Wonderful set of cards, love them x
I am new to svg cuts and not sure how this works.
But I like these box cards
You do such a wonderful job!
Thank you so much, Charlene!

ANOTHER GREAT KIT
Im a little overwhelmed with all thats in the kit....when you bring it into design space... do you bring them all? what does it mean when it says color 1 color2? head is spinning.
Being new to SVG files, I find my cuts are not sturdy enough. Could you tell me what cardstock is used or what weight?

@@svgcuts Haha you are welcome! My daughter and I have been busy making cards and it helped us skip to the one we were making. 💜
Love them. What weight of paper do you use? Thank you so much.

Thank you so much. I already bought 3 of the box cards.
Where do you find paper large enough the make the envelope?
Can I used this set for my cricut?
Can I find the assembly instructions online?
does this kit work on the portrait silhoute
so cute :)

Maybe not the Santa box, but all the other pieces look like they would fit.
Some pieces, especially the bases and envelopes are wider than an 8.5x11 will support.

svgcuts Thanks for the info and suggestions. If nothing else I do have the flat cuts so I am still pleased, it's a beautiful set!
en donde consigo los moldes
Can I cut this with my silhouette?
Yes it says SCAL, Silhouette, Cricut Design Space, ECAL or MTC
Yes, with Silhouette Studio Designer Edition!
I can't wrap my mind around Christmas cards in July...sorry :(
