Think Freak I’m nowhere near the status of a professional in cosmetology, but I found via experience, tutorials, etc, just teasing your hair is a good thing to do for hairstyles with a lot of volume like this. Though they typically need a LOT of teasing. You could also use a product like mousse, but it depends on the style

What shampoo/conditioner do you use? Im growing out my hair but it is just insanely knotty and ends up getting ripped out when I try to brush it.
I use whatever I have at the moment. Sometimes I use L’Oréal, redken, silicon mix, Paul Mitchell & more natural products, but they are a little more expensive.
Your ends are probably pretty split up. It might seem counter intuitive, but it really does make a difference to get them trimmed.
Also, the biggest issue with me was discovering my hair required a thicker toothed comb. Do a bit of research for your hair type!
Also speaking of combing, use your comb in the shower to spread conditioner. Really helps me out.

Josuke's hair is just a low hanging pompadour with unnatural support, with hair length somewhere between 4 to 8 inches (depending on hair type). This is just some weird bun on your head with tens the hair needed.
