Thanks for watching, it’s a pretty amazing effort to ride any bike that far, but a 70 year old Panther is incredible. Enjoy your M100 they are unique old bikes.
What a brilliant story and the bikes are gorgeous.Bruce has a great attitude. My bike test was exactly as Bruce described way back in 1971 here in Northern Ireland.Ross,I've just watched Conversations Beyond The Road but was unable to leave a comment. It was one of the most incredible films I've ever seen and even though I don't know any one in the film I very often had tears in my eyes.I hope everyone is well.If you are able to contact Bruce would please let him know how brilliant I thought the film was. It should go on prime time television.Thank You.
Hi Trevor, glad you enjoyed this story and Bruces film. I’ll let Bruce know you enjoyed it, we chat occasionally on FaceTime, he’s been giving me some advice on my Panther rebuild. Also check out Episode 22 with the BMW GS, that one is with Jeff, who also did the ride with Bruce and was in the film.
Should have put a sidecar on the panther, tools, spares, tent, sleeping bag and extra fuel and oil. Like joburg\cape town on a Jawa 350 twin sport but a bit further :)
I’ve got a 52 panther m100 and LOVE what Bruce has done!!

Great story and a brave man to ride so far on such an old classic.
Thanks John, Ytrue but as he said he did the restoration himself so was confident the bike would get him there. Bit soft not riding back though.😂
That is just Epic to say the least!
Sure is
What a great interview - Bruce seems like an absolute gentleman!
Thanks, glad you liked it. He is an absolute gentleman and also an extremely knowledgeable restorer.
@@BikerTorque love the Panther!

It would certainly haul a chair
@@BikerTorque like a Jawa 350 two stroke with sidecar, both would do it slowly :)
Fascinating guy. He’d have some stories to tell.
👍
Great story, mate. I used to work across the road from where the Panthers were made in Cleckheaton, West Yorkshire.
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it.
