I used the 2/3 migra steel last year on my first pheasant. I almost lead too far ahead, but the 12 pellets that connected in the head stoned him. I really like them. Wish they were more available. The mount for my first pheasant, buck, and doe is almost done. I'll be posting it on the forum when it's done.
Migra shotgun shells are the real deal.. I have several different offerings from them & must say that the 12ga 3 1/2 in 2/BB and the 20ga 3 in 2/BB absolutely lights out wrecks havock on geese.. I must add these shotgun shells would be amazing in a 10ga load..
@@BlueCollarOutdoorsUSA My daughter uses the Migra 20ga 3inch in 2/BB & it does a fantastic job of bringing down geese out of her Remington 11-87 using the Code Black Goose choke tube.. Our early goose season Sept 1st 2021 is right around the corner & I know she's ready to go using this set-up..
I’ve about decided the code black is the equalizer. I’ve seen it in different guns and 95% of patterns are lights out. It’s the common denominator. Flat out gets it done.
@@BlueCollarOutdoorsUSA didn’t realize how popular patternmaster chokes are until I tried to find one. They got it right. Might have to put those migra on the list to. Always been a fan of duplex loads.
Best waterfowl choke there is especially for the price. Mines on its 7th season i believe. Ive stoned Brant out to 70 yards before on occasion with 3.5” #2 out of my A400. And thats with the code black Duck. Not even the Goose choke.
Jake, do you think the chrono is picking up the wad and not the shot or vice versa? I do know the Patternmaster has the studs to help separate them correct? Wondering if one is messing with the actual speed? No worries either way. Those patterns were amazing guys. Great video
@@BlueCollarOutdoorsUSA carlsons crematior mid range with the 2/3 shot combo gives me patterns like that at 40!! Sold on them for this season. Also shot a 74 of 75 birds at trap 2 weeks ago with the same set up. Not going to mess with it now.!
I’ve been waiting for this video for a hot minute now. Actually impressed with these shells.
Same here! Finally got some to pattern!
@@BlueCollarOutdoorsUSA really want to see how these do out of moose’s M2 with that high voltage choke.
They will be 👌🏽 he finally got it back from having the forcing cone lengthened
Winchester Xpert been doing blended loads with everything from 7 to BB in the same shell for years lol.
Badass!
@@BlueCollarOutdoorsUSA he doesnt mean that in a good way lol. in an xpert shell you get all kinds of size shot pellets
🤣🤣🤣
@@EthanSmith2398 I was just going to leave it alone lol
I’m happy he told me, I’d rather know ahahah

I gotta pattern more of this migra for sure! I’d love to pattern it in a 20 gauge

These blends are intriguing...I wonder if they will ever do it with an upland load
That’s a good question, I’m a big fan

100% agree!!
You can't beat them there good chokes all I run now

This has been a record year for patternmaster tube sales they told me! The performance just talks man they always perform!

Never heard of those but there really good shells n definitely pattern great
100%!!
Now that’s what id want to see. Good patterns and consistent (fast) speeds.
Agreed!
Nice pattern, some big shot holes there , I would say what ever gets hit with it , it's yours. Great video guys
Thanks man and eith that pattern I agree!

It’s hard to say I don’t think so but I’m happy the speeds were consistent that’s what matters to me
Do yall have any 28 Gauge Waterfowl Testing?
We do with more coming
On the FPS it will show faster speed than advertised if it is hot out and your shells have been out in the sun. Nice vid
Agreed I’m not upset with faster speeds now as long as they are consistent
Do you think you pulled that Duck Pattern, or is that just where that CT Patterns?
Not sure hawk shot this one, we focus on the pattern then once we pick our setup we focus on POA vs POI
2/3 patterns great out of my setup
I gotta try it!
