I was super unsure about how Germany would perform at this year's Euros but ever since Kroos has come back into the squad they seem to have finally started playing very well with each other. And then when you add Musiala and Wirtz into the mix I see putting together a really good run, possibly winning the whole tournament! 🇩🇪⚽🏆
I'm looking forward to watch my team Hungary more than ever in this tournament. They haven't lost a single game since 2022 where they faced Italy in the Nations League. Germany is sure the best candidate to be the first in the group but it will be a really interesting fight between Switzerland, Scotland and Hungary! 👏
what I love about international games is the fucking passion these players have. as a neutral in international tourneys, I hate seeing young talents and veterans lose playing for their country, but oh boy the dopamine rush I’d get seeing wirtz and kroos knock out england or france😮💨
Because it normally is bar some extremely unlucky circumstances such as penalty misses…. I mean we’ve literally been eliminated out of the last 2 tournaments that we should have won BECUASE of penalty misses, just extremely bad luck…
I want England to win but not sure about Southgate. From a Coaching and Tactics stand point Austria is a dark horse to look out despite two vital players being injured. Wouldn't write them off.
Just getting into watching and following soccer. Any apps, channels, streaming services where I can just get a breakdown of what’s happening and where to watch games?
I'm shocked as a dutch we on 10 i don't think he watched the friendlies i hope we stay playing like this finally after so many years we take risks we play more attacking wise the last decennia we played posessionbased so if we keep playing like this we are atleast in the top 5
hup holland hup, i'm so excited for these euros. Koeman managing us a few great players coming into form, the likes of xavi, gakpo, de ligt, de jong, malen and depay. we will be making a deep run.
IT’S A VERY EXCITING SUMMER INDEED! ☀️🏝️ Euro, Copa America in the USA 🇺🇸 in a month. This 24-26 run is going to be remembered as an awesome time for US Soccer as we have 2 international tourneys here in 3 years. Absolutely amazing. Hopefully we can deliver some memorable moments. I’m also hoping Germany can build some momentum and return to being an international powerhouse 🇩🇪.
Honestly, Albania has been surprising since Sylvinho took over. I don't think people should count them out even if the group is tough. I wouldn't be surprised of some team like Italy flops and Albania gets third place.
Call me crazy but I think France will have an awful tournament. The whole motion of being considered favourites puts huge pressure on a team even as world class as France. They were Euro finalists in 2016, World Cup winners in 2018, and World Cup finalists in 2022 and I just have a gut feeling that they can't uphold this streak of success much longer. On the other hand, I really found the Czechs as an interesting underdog in qualifiers, they play good football (I remember the quick destruction of Polish defence) and definitely have historic legacy of doing decent at several tournaments. They may not have the names (bar Schick, Hlozek or Soucek who are respected players) but I think there's potential there.
Hungary will be dark horses in this tournament. Undefeated in 14 games, beat ENGLAND back to back once beating them 4-0 In England. Beat and tied Germany, and play very good TEAM football. 🇭🇺💪
@@jm-np4mu England and actually every national team takes every game seriously even friendlies. How come England haven't lost 4-0 in friendlies then? In the last 100 years? There were Interviews after that game where they said the English players were extreamly upset after that game and couldn't believe it. Also most of their A team players did play that game. It was also a big part in the players trying to prove themselves to make the world Cup squad list. Of course the game has a different vibe then let's say a world Cup final, but nation's league is not something teams take lightly by any means. One could say that the first 1-0 game could have been taken a bit lightly but then they would have wanted to get them back the next one at home. They went down 0-1, then 0-2. I don't think they would have just been like oh well whatever who cares. Then at the end they loose 0-4. Their worst lost since something like the 1950s.
England is always relatively high in the betting odds but mainly because more English people are betting on games. Even when nobody believed they had a chance, they were top 3. but England has won one tournament in all its history and that was in 1966. The big national teams like Germany, Italy, Spain or France all have multiple tournament victories. Germany actually has 7. England is much better than they used to be and they have a chance to win but they barely played finals or even semi-finals in the past decades.
True about England having short odds because of betting, but they have a much better squad now - the strongest midfield & attack in the tournament with multiple options though replacing Kane would be a problem. Pep Guardiola says he believes England are on the verge of a major tournament win, & compares it to his City going close for a few years before finally clinching the Champions league.
With England, there's always been the talent but no real vision or chemistry. Back when England had the likes of Beckham or Rooney, you would imagine they'd be favourites but somehow it never clicked. This time though, there's definitely something more to it, it's just a question of whether Southgate will be able to utilise the Bellinghams, Sakas and Fodens of the team.
@@averycoolgroundhog1117 the Beckham/Rooney generation was never that good. The team lacked decent players on many positions. I think the current England generation is the first in decades that is actually World Cup material. But often that’s not enough - not just for England. France is a football talent machine and is also consistently behind their potential and nobody ever got close to the dominance of Spain in 2008-2012. Even Germany 2008-2014 only managed one World Cup title. Belgium and the Netherlands had golden generations that walked away with nothing.

Belgium simply just doesn't lose... Yes last world cup was a disaster. That's why we dropped points. But other than that, we only lose to big teams which doesn't shock the rankings that much. In World Cup 2018 we lost against cup winner France, and in Euro 2020 we lost against cup winner Italy. They all hate on Belgium being so high in the ranking but they don't know how the ranking works... Always hating because we didn't win a cup... Yeah so does England but nobody is hating on them...
