The entire point of the handles is to be thin. It's made primarily as a concealable EDC, where thinness is an important attribute. They have PLENTY of other knives with chunky handles lol
Thin is a feature not a bug. I would even remove the clip. G10 is heavier so thin helps there too. Contours and sunken screws weaken handle slightly. Still waiting tor adoption of T8 fasteners.
I’m a fan of cold steel. I’ve had my American lawman, Ak-47 mini, and spartan for 12 years now. They all still work just fine. Haven’t used the spartan for much day to day stuff. Looking at the ad-10 and ad-20.5 both in s35vn right now. The triad lock has my faith that’s for sure so I may lean more towards the ad-10 for now. The shark lock being newer.
I’ll join the chorus: the thin scales would be great for pocket carry without bulk. Maybe not as great in the hand, admittedly, but great in the pocket. Looks like a perfect EDC.
I’m surprised nobody’s made the bugout comparison? I think it’s fantastic, only have the g10 version but I love everything about it except the price. CS could/ Should have done s35vn at this price point. Pretty sure Demko told them they could get away with these materials at this price point lol. That’s my only negative.
It’s not worth $100. That’s an insane price for such a small knife made of medium quality steel. $100 for a 3.5” 3V? Sure but not AUS10A. I’m disgusted with Cold Steel over their pricing on this small knife. I hope it bombs and they discontinue it because of low sales. It will serve them right.
Dude quit complaining. It's an economy thing, everything is going up, especially weapons. The knife is quality for its intended role, which is a well concealed self defense knife. Aus8, aus10, s3, whatever, any of those steels is going to give someone a bad day if you have to use it.
@@tacticalsweater5119 wrong, it’s billed as an EDC knife, and 4116 is a very budget steel. You get the AUS 10a in the Recon 1 mini for about 55 dollars. The AUS10a verdict is nearly 100. That’s ridiculous

I guess it’s a problem when your used to something the size of the Recon 1 which I was just carrying 🤣
Exactly - i want it THIN / LIGHT / SHARP 🔪

It's just such a small knife compared to typical cold steel knives 🤣
I can’t wait till they release the engage tanto
This was great thank you i want this knife but i want the 4 inch blade dose it come in a 4 inch blade?😊
Well the verdict doesn’t come in that size yet. But you can get the Recon 1
Check it out

Yes, the price is my only real problem too! For about thirty dollars more you can get the recon 1 in s35vn, and it’s a lot bigger 🤣
If the plastic handle is the same like on pro lite I would buy it.
I like the new matte finishes... hope they keep using it
It’s popping up on all the knives right now, so it’s probably going to continue
Nope. Leave it thin, you have a thicker knife already. Let us minimalist have the thin one
Yeah i definitely think Cold Steel is going down hill. Smh it’s a shame too $90+ for that knife come on cold steel.
Thickness wasn't the point of this knife

I agree the price on both the versions of the verdict are high for what your getting.

Look at Benchmade and Spyderco prices. Now those are a gouge!
@@tacticalsweater5119 you're right
