- Elite Dangerous Horizons. Solo fight with Thargoid Cyclop. It was my first time when I used Guardian Plasma chargers against thargoid interceptor. As you see this is powerful weapon, but very demanded for aiming. It was my the shortest fight against cyclop ever :) . It took me 5 minutes and could be shorter, but I missed few shoots.

Great video man! The really nice thing about the anaconda is you get to see 2 3-Class weapons right in front of you, so important for the experience
Anaconda's entry is so badass as if it told the Interceptor "How bout you fight someone your own size"

condas, vettes, clippers and cutters are just our versions of the interceptors

Prepare for a lot of frustration to get to the point of this Anaconda. May be a couple of months depending on how much you can play. It is AWESOME.
All you need to do is learn to mine void opals after unlocking Felicity farseer to get your fsd engineered. You want to farm Davs hope and bug killer site for the engineer mats. Make about 500mil on opals and you'll spend most of that maxing out the conda. I have about 1.8 mil and quite a few ships. It's daunting at first but gets a lot easier as you play. If you're interested get on inara and look up Ziggis. My cheiften and conda are pretty much both maxed out. Conda is almost 600 mil with all the parts but the armor upgrade if I wanted to do is about 300 mil
Its easier to do the 3, 2, 1 while you watch a movie. Theres a guide road to Riches or some shit.

O7. I used standard nVidia software - Geforce Experience for recording, and uploaded mp4 file on YT for encoding. In that time I had Gigabyte gtx 1080 Aorus edition (now Asus rtx 3080 Strix).

Just me, but I prefer the Shards (size 3) and the new(er) Modified Shards. Few things work better than a pair of #3 Shards at taking down a Thargoid's shields. While the Mod Shards have a tight enough spread I can use them for sniping hearts. While I like the look and damage (and range) of the Plasma Chargers. I have a really hard time holding on target long enough for them to charge up. I have the same issue with the gauss. By the time they charge up the target is no longer where I'm aiming lol.
You can hardly compare the mechanics today with then. Today, 5 modified shards with a class 3 stabilizer in an FDL overpowers a Cyclops in 3 seconds 😂 A Baselisk after heart 2. But today and back then, hitting something was helpful, and flying a little 😊

Only Anaconda can tank Cyclop's like this? or is there another ship that is capable to do it?
Late but there're also Federal Corvette and Imperial Cutter. Anacaonda is the easiest to get though.
