Sarim Gilani was my senior in O levels. It's absolutely heartwarming to see how much he has grown towards the Deen, may Allah SWT bless him in this dunia and Akhirah Ameen
This podcast provides a compelling look at the challenges faced by the LUMS students in promoting their short film about Islam. Their dedication to conveying such an important message about the urgency of repentance and the beauty of faith is truly inspiring. It's fascinating to hear how they navigated the complexities of filmmaking while remaining true to their vision. This discussion highlights the power of storytelling in fostering understanding and connection. I hope this film reaches a wide audience and sparks meaningful conversations about its themes! Youth can be both the most distracting and the most productive phase of life, depending on how we choose to use it. Time constantly slips away, and while the world often tells us to "seize every opportunity," we frequently overlook what true success and fulfillment really mean. ہر چیز بے معنی ہے اگر اس میں رب نہیں Truly an inspiration 🙌
They are very great students...last year we joined them from Karachi...the festival was marvelous chasing unique targets.... I really appreciate their efforts in organizing the event...May Allah bless them all.
I had an argument with my unis director cause acording to him islamic society hona in uni can promote violence and he specifically had a problem with a jinns and magic event we had cause according to him its khayali baten and embarassing to hold an event on unseen beings in a uni. He even said this is a uni not a madrassa. Go do all this in a madrassa. He didnt let the society operate, also banned youth club speakers kyu k koi unko chir ti unse. You students are doing great work. Bht bht zaroori h
Tell that dumb idiot that unseen does not mean non existence. Couple of hundred years ago anti matter was very unseen to many people and many didn't even know it can be a thing but now it is known. Tell him that he himself is a beliver of unseen as i suppose that he does believe in his conciousness. If he says he does then tell him that show me your conciousness otherwise i won't consider you human but a dead AI
I really love how they’ve captured the lessons from Surah Al-Asr in this short film. Their intentions and the effort behind this project🤌🏻done purely for the love of it, not for grades or fame. It is truly inspiring. If you haven’t watched it yet, go right now as It’s one of the most meaningful 10 minutes you can spend on UA-cam!
Amaan appeared dismissive and disinterested, which is unusual for him. He typically engages with others, asking insightful questions and offering valuable perspectives. While I understand that as we grow older, we tend to adopt a more relaxed attitude, these young adults are not yet at that stage. They should embody curiosity, seriousness, and passion in their pursuits. Well done LRS team! The short film is thought provoking.

Nice, but I have a question weather or not this Film was seen by non-religous people as well bcz if Sir Nouman Ali Khan and Muhammad Ali and people like them are posting it then most of the audience already knows atleast some part of it.
Just a tip to the filmmakers: Muslims have a huge tradition of Mosiqi and even though scholars have ikhtilap upon it, there are many who allow it and will allow it especially for something like this. Fiqh is vast and nuanced and u guys can look into our musical tradition for inspiration in the future. The Maghrabi tradition has a huge history of Music, also look into different sufi groups, and there are people out there who make amazing music with tabl and vocals only. The music doesn't even have to be in urdu, u guys can use poetry, background music, arabic, farsi, etc. Aesthetics are the greatest inspiration of any society. "ان الله جميل و يحب الجمال" "Beauty will save the world"
Yes yes you are right Beloved prophet(صلی اللہ علیہ والہ وسلم) said that: The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said that such bad people will be born in my Ummah who will make adultery, wearing silk, drinking alcohol and playing songs lawful.
The ones who say music is permissible such as the super sufis are misguided. Many of them literally say that drinking alcohol is allowed. We follow Quran and sunnah over any sheikh. Music is haram period unless we talk about the duff in weddings and the like.
@@Ayesha______ Mosiqi does not mean music proper. Most of the tradition I am referring to do not allow string instruments etc. and yes I agree with you that it is best to avoid it overall. But if you are to use something anyway, better to use the best of the two. Our fuqaha have done these debates and talked abt the "kiraha" and "hurmat" of different things. Reciting poetry is not the same thing as rap music. The mosiqi made from duff, or sword play is not the same thing as guitar and piano. Nuance is key. Allahu A'lam
ahhh good podcast but idk i just felt maybe he made them bit awkward at times just making jokes here and there not hating anyone just sharing what i felt
Aman Bhai, I endorse this comment, not only for this show but many other shows like the Shifa conference, where Mugheera Bhai specifically mentioned you 😂
they said it will be released today at 7:00 pm but I think they made a mistake with the community post they made Forgive them, they don't have money lol atleast Amaanullah doesn't have😭

Great film kudos to the team behind it. P.S the host should've let the guests speak he kept interrupting and behaving in a dismissive way. I guess all of us wanted to hear more from the guests and the philosophy behind the film than the degrading remarks and behaviour of the host.

Vote for amans Stand up comedy show (you can monetize it for Eon though)
I think the host behavior was little belittling. I do love his hosting skills before when he was hosting Sahil Adeem
