@@AdequateRemaster Hell no, Eggman does jack-shit throughout 90% of the game. The only major influence he has on the plot is awakening Dark Gaia, then does absolutely nothing interesting until the end of the game, where he's comically punted away like a golf ball.

I'll take your confusion as a compliment, seeing as your mashup and Krandel Calibur's were probably the best ones around back when I made this :) As for the ending, after two years of listening to it I've grown to like it a lot, so I don't plan on changing it. @ghost randson Is it after Sonic 1? Wouldn't make sense since Silver Sonic is clearly less advanced than Metal Sonic. After 2? Then where's Tails? After 3K? No, Sonic is clearly older than in 1, 2, and CD and Mecha Sonic which is more of a fusion of the concepts of Metal & Silver Sonic, however in games featuring classic sonic in the 2010s he's a much lighter blue than in 3K so maybe you could just think of Mecha Sonic as a more bulky prototype of Metal Sonic? But it wouldn't make sense for Robotnik to not integrate the Super Mecha Sonic ability and to ignore the master emerald in CD if he already almost got it before in 3K. Basically, CD is a self contained story and if you try to add it to the timeline then somehow the time travel mechanic is the least of your worries.
@ghost randson Maybe Silver Sonic from Sonic 2 is a prototype of Mecha Sonic from S3 and that would explain the lack of paint and flight and only the new ideas that would be used in S3 Mecha Sonic when combined with the abilities of Metal Sonic?
