@@CarSpyTV thank you. I really like the logical way you find the faults :) Thank you. I will be changing the air filter and cabin filter on the mk3 Octavia. I hope that you’ll like it :) thank you
Hi I am currently having the same problems with my P12 I have tried everything you did there except enter diagnostic mode, I even undid the seat bolts so I could tip the seat forward and backwards to get access to the connections under the drivers seat where I squeezed them all withing a inch of their lives but to no avail the light just would not go out at all. I currently have the car in my local garage having mot work done (2 new fuel tank straps which I am having to have fabricated because Nissan no longer make them and apparently there are none available in stores either) also have minor problems on one of the rear brakes (hand break problem a known weakness on primera's) still working on solving the airbag issue though, Your video confirmed what I had already done as correct so for me unfortunately it looks like its going to cost ££££££ in a garage to fix. Keep up the good work your vids are quite educational. PK.
have two of these cars. both with the airbag light on. i tried everything but was doing it on the rear seat (triggered the fault on both cars as far as can remember). will try the front seats now. Brilliant video btw, could have been an episode on TopGear👌!
Good video lots of information clearly demonstrated. Well done on sorting it. A wiring diagram might have helped and as the side seat airbag connector had brown and blue wires following those back I guess would have took you to the brown connector from the wires coming out of the carpet at the back of the seat. 12.3V on a VW start-stop vehicle would be time for a drive or battery charger. CVT too, you know how to live.
So clearly explained, thank you! Could you please advise if these flashing codes fit the Micra k11 as well? I seem to be having the same problem and getting rid of it by doing on/off 5 times doesn't help, so perhaps it's time to get to the bottom of the cause.
Hello. Glad the video helped. I haven't checked whether such codes are available for the K11. The Factory Service Manual might confirm. It's available online. Good luck and best wishes from CarSpyTV.
Hi Carspy TV, Plz help me out. The video fixed the airbag warning light! Thanks for that. Instead i now get te “fasten your seatbelts” warning. Any idea what the problem could be. I also could not enter self diagnostic mode with the info/volume trick.
I once had the seatbelt warning issue. There was a black wire on the driver's seatbelt buckle. Mine had a lose connection, so the warning stopped when I wiggled the wire. It might be worth checking your wire, too. Good luck.
Thanks! I was successful a few months ago, but now the airbag warnig light continues. The flashing sequence is 2 sec ON, 1 sec OFF, two fast flashes and finally 1 sec OFF. Any idea?
Par contre quel appareil obd2, sans manipulation, est compatible pour effacer le code voyant airbag de la Nissan primera p12, année 2002, 2,2litres vdi 129ch?
The Nissan Primera Owners Club forum may point you towards a document that deciphers the code. The How To Reference Section (techs and specs info) is interesting.

Great video, I was impressed also with the Nissan workshop manual you used to workout the pattern of the airbag error code. Lovely Jubbly
Thank you, Matt. It took a while to decipher that code! I'm glad it's fixed. I look forward to your next video.

Good idea! I suspect those videos will be popular.
Very interesting. Thank you.
No worries, RDT.

Hi Paul. Sorry you're having trouble. Good luck getting it sorted. Best wishes from CarSpyTV.
I love your vidz 😉
Thank you, Adrian. That's appreciated.
Thanks for this video, helped me today to find out that the airbag connector behind the glove box made the light go on. Solved.
You're welcome. Glad the video helped. More Primera content to follow.
Love a warning light😮
Never seen this one before (in that car, anyway).
Well explained with great visuals. Thanks.
No worries, Bob. Glad you enjoyed the video.

Can you tell me where my air bag light is on my transit, I can't find it at all been looking, have a good weekend mate
Sorry! I pinched the bulb to fix the Primera! Enjoy your weekend too, Ian. Busy here!

Thanks Nta16. Naturally, my first thought was to submerge the whole car in GT85 - but it didn't work!
@@CarSpyTV well, you're not fully trained or experienced yet in it's use. If the warning comes back we can explore step-by-step GT85 use. 😄
Good point. I need to complete the Advanced Diploma in GT85 Management. I'm on it!

@@CarSpyTV Thanks for the quick response.
I will check. Keep up the good work! 👍🏼
That must have been very worrying . No idea how you knew what to do!
Thanks Anne. I'm glad it's fixed.

Hello. The Primera P12 Factory Service Manual confirms what the various codes mean (and other relevant information). It's easily available. Good luck.
Link?
Forgot to mention, I am not able to download the Airbag electrical schematic
That's surprising!

Hi CarSpyTv do you have a email address? My fault is ON 1time 3 sec OFF 1 time 2 sec then ON/OFF 8 times approx .2 sec
