I just love the way Ma lin throws up his bat when he loses ;)
But he is still one of the best players in history !

Ma Lin should have won this match, he played very well, specially the 4th set, he was uberly fast!
fan-bloody-tastic match! Had me on the edge of the seat until the very end...if that was HD and a lower camera angle that would be even more sweet!

Jun Mizutani plays exquisitely but very often he leaves the initiative to the contender and that´s when he loses precious points.
He should keep the initiative till the end. If he did so, he would beat contenders (even Chinese) without getting so much trouble and without making his fans suffer so much.

he has more chance beating hao shuai, ma lin, ma long,
than him winning against those harder loopers like wlq wh cq zjk

8 years later, still not happened even once
@17teacmrocks HAHAH ma lin turned it back on 7th game but mizutani also upped his game. and ma lin tried to make a comeback too late. wow ma lin losing to mizutani lol. lgl stood up and was about to walk off; ma lin throwing his racket in the air hahaha

normally mizutani never would have a chance against ma lin! just luck in my opinion!
and mizutani has no good backhand technique, he just brings the ball back on the table and even he play an off-wood hes not able to unleash power like all top players...

i get the feeling sometimes the chinese players are told to purposely not go all out so it's a more entertaining match.
and u will notice that he never had a real chance or will have a chance against the top-player even hes now no.6 what is very unrealistic because he would lose against wang liqin, joo se hyuk and definitely against xu xin who beat him every time!
