Allegedly, she was arrested for selling drugs to a male student from University of Idaho in Moscow and he overdosed. She was arrested in March. I also read that Maddie’s stepmom was arrested for drugs 5 days before the murders. And then Xana’s mom was arrested for drugs 5 days later. I just wonder if there were drugs at the home where they were murdered, did maybe Maddie or Kaylee get tired of drugs coming into the home where they were living and notified police?? Was it a revenge killing? It’s also my understanding that Bryan was friends with Emma Bailey, also.

I agree. The layout in that house is so different that it's confusing to grasp with just a floorplan or virtual tour. Especially when it comes to his alleged route and him walking past DMs door to go out the sliding door. The jury definitely needs a walkthrough of this house to fully grasp how things happened. Also needs to stay up just incase there's something in there that was looked over or needs double checking. It's always a possibility that evidence could've been missed.
I hate when people say Kaylees dad just wants attention. I see a grieving man who has to keep moving because if he keeps still he will fall to his knees. Kaylee is so lucky to have a dad like this. I mean this guy has been at the forefront and it’s just so touching and sweet. These beautiful girls did everything right!!! Stuck together that night, had a driver, ate something after drinking, and got in the door together safely and texted parents. These families raised their daughters right and were so proactive in their safety even after leaving for college. Like Mr Goncalves said in an earlier interview that we couldn't tuck them in that night but knew they were home safely. This is horrendous, and I pray that justice is served!!! I love how he referred to Kaylee AND Madison as “two of our babies” it’s clear how much both these girls meant to everyone who knew them. LOVE always wins over hatred, these four beautiful kids won’t ever be forgotten.
It's interesting how different Kaylee's family is reacting to their heartbreak and loss vs. how Ethan's family is. Kaylee's brother graduated at the same time and chose to step aside so the focus could be on Kaylee. Ethan's family is focusing on their children who are still alive. Kaylee's family is actively involved in the court case and will be at the trial. Ethan's mom wrote a book and is choosing to move forward and not think about Kohberger. They will not be attending the trial. I don't know if there's a right or wrong way to grieve and move forward. Both families are clearly amazing and inspiring. I guess I wonder which method will result in healing sooner. I do know the victims would want their families to heal and move forward without them and have happy lives filled with love.

What a decent & brave man Mr Goncalves is and what he is doing on his daughter's birthday to "take the narrative back" from the killers is SO important across the world for all victims. For too long the murderers & killers have held sway with the narrative - which has always struck me as wrong - especially all the vultures that write books make movies & documentaries about the killers. A really immoral feeding frenzy. Some serial killers have even stated that they "wanted to be famous" listing with glee the books - films and media coverage that would be about them. Also making them central characters also makes people imitate previous killers or try & get a higher number of kills. These beautiful girls did everything right!!! Stuck together that night, had a driver, ate something after drinking, and got in the door together safely and texted parents. These families raised their daughters right and were so proactive in their safety even after leaving for college. Like Mr Goncalves said in an earlier interview that we couldn't tuck them in that night but knew they were home safely. This is horrendous, and I pray that justice is served!!! Again, not a US citizen but I’ve watched everything there is to watch about this case and while on the surface of it, there seems to be a fair amount of damning evidence against BK but I would still reserve my own judgment until I heard all the actual evidence presented in court. It seems to me that even if it takes longer than usual to find unbiased jurors, they’re out there to be found and surely the massive costs of moving the trial and enforcing the gag order, not to mention the enormity of the death penalty and the absolute necessity for justice for 4 victims and their families, would make good arguments for spending that extra time instead. 🤷🏼♀️

It's interesting how different Kaylee's family is reacting to their heartbreak and loss vs. how Ethan's family is.
Kaylee's brother graduated at the same time and chose to step aside so the focus could be on Kaylee. Ethan's family is focusing on their children who are still alive. Kaylee's family is actively involved in the court case and will be at the trial. Ethan's mom wrote a book and is choosing to move forward and not think about Kohberger. They will not be attending the trial.
I don't know if there's a right or wrong way to grieve and move forward. Both families are clearly amazing and inspiring. I guess I wonder which method will result in healing sooner. I do know the victims would want their families to heal and move forward without them and have happy lives filled with love.

Seems like Kaylee and Maddie had similar immature personalities, I know they were drunk on the street in that food truck video. The most likable for me is Ethan. It’s a pretty gross crime, I hope the trial is televised. I’d love to see the lawyers in action.

Anyone innocent would have nothing to hide and would want cameras in the courtroom.
No one would know how they would deal with this. This is clearly Steve's way of processing his grief, allows him to feel not so powerless. I commend him for not backing down & keeping the memory of these kids alive. Very soon once this monster is rotting in prison, once cameras are gone, these families will still be grieving. I wish them healing.
I don't know I feel for the family but sometimes oversharing is talking too much until this case is over and done with it's sometimes is good to be quiet and just let this play out

What a decent & brave man Mr Goncalves is and what he is doing on his daughter's birthday to "take the narrative back" from the killers is SO important across the world for all victims. For too long the murderers & killers have held sway with the narrative - which has always struck me as wrong - especially all the vultures that write books make movies & documentaries about the killers. A really immoral feeding frenzy. Some serial killers have even stated that they "wanted to be famous" listing with glee the books - films and media coverage that would be about them. Also making them central characters also makes people imitate previous killers or try & get a higher number of kills. God Bless Mr Goncalves for his wonderful example of how to make a positive difference in this world.

The boyfriend then went out in the hall to find out what was going on and the killer slashed his throat. In a rage, the last girl went at him and fought a pitched battle that left the killer so spent that he didn't have the energy or desire to attack Dylan

I think her birthday should be celebrated everyday and what they started with the flyers and the pay it forward campaign should be spread all over not just on their local community. I wonder how the Goncalves family would feel if someone took the initiative to do the same in other cities around the country?

I agree with Kaylee’s father that showing facts in the case, being transparent, isn’t causing harm to the case. The truth doesn’t contaminate anything! Facts are facts and the more the defense pushes for gag orders and no cameras the more speculation and rumors abound!
