This series is great fun! Not, perhaps, the best detective series I've ever seen but still very entertaining, almost lighthearted at times and some good action. Also the theme tune is truly inspired, it sets the scene for a nice family show. InternetPilgrim, thank you very much for sharing these. Greatly appreciated.
@Steffsstuff Technically speaking this is a show that aired in Canada, so having this video uploaded to youtube is a form of piracy, and this UA-cam channel does not own any type of rights on these videos. So putting a logo on it would make matters worse, legally speaking, and could even get the channel removed from youtube for infringing copyright laws.
I enjoyed this old-fashioned series very much. My favorite is Death by Proxy; very ingenuous plot. On the other side, I couldn't stand the "Murdoch Mysteries" more than 5 minutes.
In terms of Canadian television, it was - Trouble With Tracy, Stardust, Whiteoaks of Jalna. Didn't know this existed, despite growing up on 🇨🇦 TV, quite a unique tone, character levity combined with horror & much national acting history. SCTV classic also, of course.
If you know how to imprint a logo onto your videos, I would do that. There is a person here on UA-cam who is copying these Great Detective episodes and uploading them as if it were all their own work. A logo will help prevent piracy. I wish I had better protected my hard work....
A really decent police story - but the process of driving a blindfolded victim to "sense" where they were taken has been used by Many movies and television series. They've even used Hypnosis to do the same process. I say it would be almost impossible whatsoever for this to work. I can understand sounds or smells or some specific happening while riding blind - but even those are doubtful. It's a Fun idea, but hardly humanly possible - and even in this movie it is from 4 months previous. But - it is a Fun scenario even though. And the way they produce this movie as a play on stage is really entertaining.
You are mostly correct. True ... taking a blindfolded but sighted person to retrace their steps is in all likelyhood impossible. However ... a friend's grandpa was blinded when a young man as the result of measles. He could give accurate directions even down to how far the next turn was. But this man had many years to adapt his other senses to compensate for his lack of sight. So ... It could happen. But in this particular storyline ... or anything like it real or fantasy ... It's highly doubtful.
arun kumar: I understand your asking this, but it's impossible to answer. I might enjoy it, but I can't assume on the strength of that that *you* would. It only lasts 50 minutes, so why not give it a pop and judge for yourself. Image and sound quality are poor, but Internet Pilgrim warned us of this in the intro to the first episode (Death by Proxy).
Thank you for posting this series.

It's not that old. It was filmed between 1979 and 1982! You talk as if it had been filmed a few centuries ago (so to speak :-).

Even had a Police chase sequence.
It has a similar feel to it that reminds me of Murdock....the acting.
I love this series 😊...
Couldn't watch this film. It has an annoying buzzing crackling sound.

Clever deducting.

arun kumar no its not worth whatching.
It's quick, easy to follow, and not too involved. A nice distraction on a rainy day.
@@leescott8506🇨🇦 history, on & off screen.
Cheers!!!
Video and audio qualities very poor, couldn't enjoy.
🤩🤩🤩💖💖
This particular episode was just average. The plot is flimsy. The way Cameron reaches his conclusions is a bit far fetched.
Bad music.
