I would carry my real money clip in my front pocket and a cheap velcro one in my back pocket just in case of a fight I could pull it out and throw it up in the air and when he looks up I hit him. Or if they are going to rob me with a weapon I could chuck my cheap wallet with $10.00 and live to talk about it.

I've seen many distractions used in a fight but I must admit spraying a mouthful of drink in his face was really unexpected! I consider that a brilliant tactic, and it's going in my personal arsenal! 👍
Great Video and when I was in Law Enforcement I used some of these moves to take down a bigger guy I am short and wear glasses and I have used all of these methods to a great advantage. I am 75 year old and Retired now so I can definitely say there methods work I didn’t get this old by fighting fair.
I have to say, I love the rules, especially 2-50. In a violent confrontation it simply comes down the fact that it's me, or him and I've got no problem doing whatever it takes to tip the Ballance in my favour. Winning is winning.
I just did the coin trick on the neighbor and i could have cold cocked him. It worked like a charm. He tracked the few coins and completely turned his head
Years ago I used to have a video tape of this guy and a partner teaching disarm techniques, I think it was TRS Systems or something like that. I trained many of the techniques with training buddies and they were very effective and worked, we padded up and went full force. I wish I knew what happened to that tape.

Some of my canes don’t feature a “Shepherds Crook” in the handle so using it to trap a limb isn’t a possibility.
Sounds like a nice bo-ken. That's a light, fast, club - and it gives you extra reach and length in a fight. Learn the targeting points for disarms and incapacitation.

That’s not an option when I visit daughter and her family in NYC. All I have there is a cane and ever present tactical pen. The pen is probably more effective up close than the cane. Once I left the infantry as a captain back in the 1990’s, I took up Aikido and much of that I can still practice today (except for spectacular falls and rolls-age begets brittle bones). From that experience I know it’s to my advantage for my opponent to be close. The closer the better. Especially if there’s more than one.
