Top video. No smugness. Just good old fashioned advice. I too am amazed that your sub count is at 8.5k. I've just increased it by one! All the very best and keep the videos coming.
Knowledge plus expertise plus technique equal excellent content! Can't believe you haven't reached 10k subs yet. (always have to be wary of the '33') Thanks...
@@ToltecMerc I know, I watch few others yt chanells like NorthBridgeFix if you know so yeah 😀. Some repairs take a looong time (going into a rabbit hole 🤣😂) but best feeling is when you fix it 😀. No problem and have amazing day dude 🙂
Sorry asking, but may you explain what you did and if a non experienced person can do it, i have the same problem, my mechanic told me to buy another one, but it has the exact same problem as this one in the video?
Incredible work brother... i envy your work bench setup and patience. I have a few wonky xbox ones but one sticks out in my mind that won't update. Im gonna try to unplug the disc drive perhaps that will make it work digitally at least. Thanks for the video
Good day ToltecMerc, my Xbox one S is having a similar issue, I removed the Disc Drive to see if that's what shorting it but still switches off after 4-6 seconds. I did the same with the Hard Drive and it still switches off. Might the problem be on the Motherboard or Fan? Thank you.

Welcome! I'm glad you enjoyed. It's nothing fancy, just me working on things.
Another good work, thx for your time and have great xmas with your family.
Thank you very much! Same to you!
I really enjoyed the methodical approach you took to finding that shorted cap. Nicely done. I really need to get me one of those thermal cameras! :)
Thank you! My thermal cam is not the most expensive but it does get the job done.
Well done, good detective work and you seem to have repaired the multimeter too.
Actually no! I bought another working one to have something to compare to and hopefully fix my broken U1241A.

Thank you! It's been a pretty good year so far so what ever Santa brings will just be gravy! Thanks for stopping by!
That tiny condenser brings everything down 😂🤣. Nice job dude 😀👍
Quite often those tiny capacitors bring down even more expensive equipment than this! Thanks for watching and commenting!

You probably have a short on the Motherboard somewhere. Perhaps some liquid damage?
Good job mate 👍
Thank you very much! I’m glad you liked it!
How many multimeters do you have? I have seen 3 so far :D
Maybe around 20 total. I kind of collect them. I think only 1 was purchased new. The others were broken ones that I repaired.
Thank you!! great video!!!
You are so welcome!
Another great video thanks.
I'm glad you liked it! Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment. I do appreciate it!
Those tiny ceramic capacitors getting short so often.
I liked the probes of your Agilent multimeter,
Where did you get them from please .
Probe Master. I'm using some tip extenders from them as well.
Thanks a lot and merry Christmas for you and your family.
Imagine a world without capacitors... :)
Hmmmm. We need them I'm afraid.
Очень круто !
Thank you! I'm glad you liked it!
Nice work, it's great to see a different type of fault with these consoles, another one for the toolbox 🧰
Thank you! I hope the info is helpful to you later!
