Я сам плиточник и не использую каронки( исключение этотпросверлить уложенную плитку. Смысл в том что коронка это 1 размер а в санузлах у меня бывало и по 10 разных диаметров . Клиенту оплачивать нормальные коронки выходит очень дорого . А используя ушм. Можно сделать отверстие хоть 5 мм хоть 50 см . Но времени конечно больше . Хотя у меня и есть на основные размеры коронки

Разница, то, что ты 39-40 секунд сверлишь и 5-10 минут и ещё с риском сломать большая, кто пробывал коронками, тот уже болгаркой не делает отверстия. Насчёт разного отверстия диаметров, есть 3 базовых диаметра 20/40/65 или 68. Если диаметр больше к примеру твоей коронки, то ты просверли сначала, а потом расточи, быстро и красиво, а главное перед заказчиком, как черт выглядеть не будешь.

@shawnstafford7809 What do you need gloves for? Technically you should not use gloves on moving equipment because its possible for the glove to get caught and mangle your hand.
Using one of these "tools" is inferior to method one but with a square, simply because a tile hole saw has a bit on it to punch through the center first and keep the saw stable and the it cuts the ring. It takes maybe 10 seconds to mark it and another 10-20 to drill through. Compare that with this it takes 5-10 (one time time cost) minutes to make the tool, another 5 seconds to get the alignment, 15 seconds to lign it up on the tile, and 2 minutes to cut the hole itself. Not to mention the hole is much rougher using a damn grinder for it.
I don't work in this trade. But even if this was my first day on the job with no help, I'd have figured this out faster than whatever this 3 hour project was.

you mark a spot anywhere on the edge of an already hanged tile, take a wire, leave one end on the mark, and wrap the other end around the pipe hole then you just place it on your tile correspondingly, mark and cut
Could have just put some paint on the end of the pipe and pressed the tile up against it for a precise marker of where the hole would need to be drilled.

First method was exactly how you should do it. Just use something to square your lines off the edge.
I'm no professional and I've never done tile but I've managed to make that exact same method work a dozen times.
I would prefer this method instead of the traditional one, having a specialized tool is much better, it saves time and brain power.

Все очень просто, мажешь мажешь торчащую трубу из стены, чем нибудь красящим, затем прикладываешь плитку и где отпечаталось там и делаешь отверстие.😊

You can put a transparent paper, then draw on it, then cut it on the same drawing.

Just paint the circle and press the ceramic . Cut out the shape. It's that simple.
Or you take a piece of cardboard, imprint your fixture. Then transfer to work, job done.
