Andris Poga leads the Stavanger Symphony Orchestra through the emotional high tension of the first act of the Valkyrie. From the first shy re-encounter of the twins Siegmund and Sieglinde to the jubilantly committed incest of the Wälse children: if there is a single piece from Wagner's Ring to be looked at individually, then it is this effective beginning of the Valkyrie. Pure music drama!
