TRANSVULCANIA BY UTMB® 2022

Peter Engdahl and Abby Hall were the winners of the Transvulcania by UTMB®'s Ultramarathon. Behind the sweeden crossed the finish line one of the most beloved athletes of the trail running community. Miguel Heras took second place in a time of 07:42:32, completing a great season after winning in Sanabria and Ultra Pirineu in less than a month. Canary Islander Cristofer Clemente came in third in a time of 07:45:32, completing the podium. In the women's category Abby was followed by the Norwegian Yngvild Kasperson, with a time of 08:47:03, followed by the Ecuadorian Jessica Tipan, who completed the course in 09:28:45.
In the Marathon, Yoel de Paz and Ikram Rharsalla were the fastest, with times of 04:04:38 and 05:00:09, while Dimas Pereira and Leire Fernández recorded their names in first place in the Half Marathon, covering the 28 kilometres in 02:07:20 and 02:41:09 respectively.
