In response to David Austin who obviously has no clues about motorcycles, this is an English motorcycle, in fact this type of bike won the 1926 TT Tourist Trophy. That is the valve lifter he is pulling, not the clutch! He is doing that because the engine has so much compression you can not kick the engine over top dead centre without lifting the exhaust valve! and if you notice when the bike starts the back wheel slowly builds up speed from a complete stop, that is because these old bikes still have a little bit of friction in the cork clutch plates and it will spin the wheel, so no this bike was not in gear!
I. Like it ..., Mmmm ... Mauuuuu ... From Bandung west Java Indonesia
Lovely bike, lovely sound!.

Superb!! There's nothing quite like an old flat tank 1920s bike. 👍😆

79mm x 100mm bore and stroke, ease over compression and give a long kick.
This is classic
Wow
Typical American, engine doesn’t start, so, plays with the clutch lever! Wtf! Then starts engine whilst in gear.
