How about the reverse situation? My doctor was starting me on new medications and I told him I had quit drinking beer. He made the change and I ended up in hospital bleeding internally. "Oh, when you said you quit drinking beer, you meant it. I nearly killed you." He was so casual about it.
Yikes, do you still have him as your doctor?
@@SleepyBookworms No another doctor at the practice took over my case.
I know this is beside the point, but what medication causes internal bleeding if you *don't* drink? That seems counterintuitive.
Doctors are a dime a dozen, get one that listens.
You might have a good malpractice case on your hands. You could make some money.
Asthma is no joke. My worst attack was caused by a saleswoman, armed and dangerous with a bottle of Chanel Number 5. I'm probably the reason fragrances sellers use sample cards now, as opposed to spraying it in the air as you walk by. My blood oxygen got so low, I should have been dead. 64/100. On oxygen for 9 days straight and a neb every three hours. That was 25 years ago.
The next one was a savage kissing attack by a german shepherd puppy.
Story 20 That guy with the spinal tumor was trying to be a man, but it takes a bigger man to shallow your pride and listen.
It's childish, not manly to look at a situation, consult the authorities then scream "nuh-UUUUUHHH!" and hide.
My mom isn't always the brightest and at times lacks common sense. She was put on bedrest when she was pregnant with my older sister (her first pregnancy), but my mom's friends told her it was a bad idea to be on bedrest while pregnant and that she needs to be outside and walk around. She went to a swap meet, went into labor later in the day, and my older sister was born premature. Thankfully my older sister is fine but she had to deal with bad asthma as a kid and was sick very often, she still gets sick more often than others as an adult. When I asked my mom "Why the hell did you listen to your friends over your doctor?" she said "I didn't have access to look up the information I needed like you do now." This happened in 1994.
Here’s how my list of what I believe over certain things-
1. Professionals
2. Parents/Siblings
3. Google/Search Engines
4. Friends
5. Any other source
those parents at 10:10 should have been charged with child neglect!
I too work in a veterinary clinic and tho it sounds like that tech is talking about a specific person, trust me, theres a LOT of people like this
Sealions are infact dope
those parents at 10:10 should have been charged with child neglect!
Obligatory not a medical professional, I was the one who ignored the advice and almost paid dearly for it. I was told that having too much stress and working more than 100 hours per week would cause problems, I ignored the advice to slow down and put less pressure on myself as I was in my mid-to-late 20s, fit, and healthy. A month later I was forced to take some time off when I had a heart attack at 28. You think I would learn from this but apparently not, earlier this year I had to lay on my back for three days as extreme stress caused a severe bout of vertigo that resulted in me not being able to hold down water or tea.
8:05 Yeah its called water intoxication. Basically just make sure you pee enough when you drink a lot of water and you should be ok
I don’t know about during cardiac arrest recovery, but under normal healthy situations sweating out water should help too
Story 13 is so messed up. How hard is it to move something to save your pet?! And all the bills you’re racking up too’
I'll start using my Symbicort again.
No more trying to pretend my asthma isn't real.
Symbicort is a preventer well manly a preventer but can be a MART
Not a medical professional but got told this story from my mother also not a medical professional.
My mother had just given birth to my brother and he caught meningitis. Like he was on the edge of dying. Get told had my brother died I would not be here, he pulled through and four years later I came into the world.
To think had my parents not chosen to be smart and listen to the doctors I wouldn’t be here.
Sometimes I wish there was more threads vets dealing with pet parents to laugh at stupid things they do like any medical video, but I know I would get way too angry to get very far.
First I think
Why are there so many animal stories?
As a guy who had osteo and deal with cast a lot yike
❤!

Tough mudders are known in Canada, the US, and (no surprise) Australia, and probably other places.
Lost me at Blasphemy. Is it really necessary to defame the Name of God and my Savior to make your point.?
Are you stupid?
Yep.
Y e s.
... they never said the name of the Abrahamic god.
God is a title. Like the god Thor and the goddess Asherah
The name of the Christian god, who many Christians think is just called "God" is YHWH. Pronounced "Yaah-way"
If you read an actual translation of the Bible and not the versions trying to scrub out Jesus' Hebrew roots you'll find that in Exodus 6:2.
And God said to Moses "I am YHWH/Yahweh- the Lord."
In later translations: Jehovah.
In scrubbed versions: "God" or "Lord"
also, if blasphemy is a sin, and Jesus died for our sins, then why is it still bad to say "oh my god" and the like

Fifth, I know
4:23 💀
